I cannot believe that in today’s world any CEO, even one of a small company such as ours, is firing off tweets that aren’t fully vetted and planned by an internal compliance/marketing team is some kind. Something is cooking. Based on some of the things that have been tweeted by large company CEOs, I don't even think they have all this vetting and such. But definitely something must be cooking... we've talked about it for so many years, how could it not be.

I think Mike's comment was well timed. It's always better to speak up to insurance companies when the light of the state insurance agency is focused on unfair or poor practices. Business as usual for Aetna won't be good enough when the commissioner is breathing down their neck. The reason companies and individuals pay insurance premiums is to get the best care & medications available. If Aetna isn't holding patient care to the highest standard then they need to be called out. Go Mike! That makes it sound like you have historical cases where this was done and resulted in something good.

In today’s world seems to me CEO’s say whatever they want and so does the president. It’s a new world on Twitter. The hot stock:-)

DBC/ something did come ! Dave Kendall 🤔 That would be "non-causal" with reference to this tweet from Mike which came after Dave Kendall. Short of time machines, an action cannot cause something in the past.

After reading the article on Aetna I take back what I said. Seems like Mike was commenting on that.
Sports you may be right. If it works for the president...

Mike has 1,906 twitter followers. I follow a Yorkshire terrier (that dresses up in cute costumes) that has more followers than that. Really.
I'm not attacking Mike, nice of him to speak up, I'm just saying with so few followers I really doubt anyone is going to notice his tweet (other than a handful of investors). I doubt anyone from United and Blue Shield will be bothered, for instance.
I just don't read anything more into his tweet than just a guy tweeting about an issue he cares about. But it is hardly a high risk shot across anyone's bow.

For every action there’s a reaction ! In physical dynamics, yes, and in other things often... that gets back to the original post of this thread hoping that the reaction to Mike's tweet from the payers he is attacking is not a negative one. Maybe it's calculated. The only thing I would guess is that it means MNKD isn't in the final stages of negotiation with any of these mentioned companies for better formulary placement. Rarely does a kick in the shin bring closure to a business deal.

Too much speculation about Mike’s comment. He is ceo. But first he is human. He has passion to bring a good product to serve diabetic patients. He also does not like the corrupt insurance system. Kind of emotion but not too much. Just good to inspire sales.

Sounds like Mike was acting Presidential to me and as quick as hes finished straitening out Mannkind I say we find him a seat at the capitol. As for Aetna there is no standard of care only contempt for their clients.

That's constructive criticism, not attack Your point is well taken, particularly noting that he didn't choose to use whatever @ tags would have landed his post in the twitter feeds of those companies.

Right, if you use a tag it’s been my experience that they respond right away.

I actually saw this article on Facebook yesterday. And everybody was commenting on it. I think if you peel away the onion you will see many other people (1000’s if not more) commenting on this particular article besides ‘Mike

I think if you peel away the onion you will see many other people (1000’s if not more) commenting on this particular article besides ‘Mike No one (I hope) is doubting that it is a big story. It was reported by all the so-called lame media (e.g. ABC, NBC, CNN, Fox, etc.). Even internationally (e.g. Globe and Mail, The Daily Mail).
