We are almost done with the first quarter. This is what I want to know: where is the money coming from to fund the follow-up, larger scale, ad campaign? And when is it going to start? Right now all I see is funding with no ad campaign for 2018. June's ADA causing bump in scripts... Most likely looking at the end of the 4th quarter possibly 2019 1st quarter for that. From Castagna's own mouth, it take's close to a year for advertising to have an effect on scripts. Am I to believe that we have yet to see the scripts increase from the trial ad campaign? And we shouldn't expect a bump in scripts from a follow-up campaign until mid 2019 or later? Thoughts. Regarding your statement that Mike said it takes close to a year for advertising to have an effect on scripts, you are mistaken. it's only one component of the equation. What if media started giving more attention to this company as the drug Afrezza is proven "superior" rather than "not inferior". What if the spot light gives attention to the hundreds of links that reflect patient use to be life changing? One piece of the action doesn't tell the story. Testimony, FB and Tweet fervor will influence how the marketing goes.

I don't think we will see any bump in script numbers for the very short-lived half ass ad campaign MNKD waged. Exposure and advertising have been the problem from the get-go. Now they have to wait show stat results till the ada in June. I hope the results don't get embargoed like the delay in reporting results. Sorry folk but I am losing patience. I bought more after they bumped up earnings and Mike changed his FB page to the Dubai nightlife pics(what was that all about?) Tired of being strung along here. I am right there with you on lack of advertising result news, now that we are 2 months past the end of that effort and I'm channeling Veruca Salt (I want it NOW). But did we really expect a jump in sales from this? They ran a test Ad campaign in 7 to 9 (?) regional markets, and it ran for about a couple of months. I'd assume that they got the data that they needed, and ended the campaign. It shouldn't have impacted national sales #'s much at all, because it was regionalNow they have to weigh the cost of a larger campaign vs the $$ it will cost. Something national will be millions/month, depending on the timeslots. Do you want to have another 10M shares of dilution to fund a 3-6 month ad campaign? I don't, not without getting some test results that definitively show regional sales were responsive to advertising. Afrezza sales would have to more than double to make funding of this amount worthwhile

MNKD would need to tool their campaign to average a 1-2K for incremental new RX's. Event will more funding, MNKD needs to recoup TV campaign expenses within a year, more likely a positive spend ROI which would be around $500 per incremental new RX. eg, a $5,000,000 campaign to be ROI spend positive would need to generate 10K new prescriptions. If those sorts of returns were possible, I expect that MNKD would be spending the money already. $5 million is small money to generate 10K in NRx and while that might cause some near term dilution, I doubt many shareholders would complain if the script results were there. The fact that MNKD is not carpet bombing the networks with advertising suggests that the results from the test markets were not that strong. I suspect the company is still looking for a combination of promotional tools that are both affordable and which result in enough near term sales growth to move the needle in a measurable way. That is not an easy task is a crowded space with strong competitors.

Maybe related to the stop in advertising, but what is the feeling between today's sharp drop in weekly income? Erased 3 weeks of increases in one week with no holidays to account for.

Maybe I am wrong but i seem to recall reading about the pics on this board and about recently like a week ago. I also recall members making guesses about where the pics were taken. Am I mistaken?

Did the ads end December 2? There was a an increase on Google trends from 9/9 until 12/2 and then a pretty steady decline after that date -- trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=afrezza I don't know how that graph translates into real numbers of people. Right now the number is the worse it's been in the past six months.
