Perhaps that "final piece" is somebody who will educate the medical industry. I've received a number of emails from shareholders who have spoken to doctors who told them that they wanted to hold off prescribing Afrezza until more was known about it. Not "until it's popular" or "until there's better coverage" or "until they lower the price".
They want to know more. I think Dr. Kendall has exactly the right qualification to give physicians a LOT of information that the diabetes treatment industry will take seriously.
Once he begins, I believe Dr. Kendall will keep the science of Afrezza out in front of the medical community from here on out. My opinion is that Dr. Kendall was shocked to find that there were more than 60 studies that had been completed for Afrezza but never publicized. I am excited to see how he is going to utilize all of that data to inform the medical community.

boy I hate to read but I enjoyed that novel thanks central The funny thing is that I’m not the best writer. It takes me a long time to write something. But it was important to try and convey what a great asset David Kendall will be to our company. But, now that you've taken the time, it will be a simple change of name edit for the next Chief Medical Officer Sorry, that's me being awful. I do think he was a good hire.

These missing studies are almost all I think about these days

Michael has been CEO for MannKind for almost a year. He has a sales force of 40-100 (conflicting reports) and only has increased scripts by 1-2 a week...
David Kendall better bring his A game.
I was disappointed to see MNKD rising less than 2% after good news from the FDA. The Market has lost faith...

I don't think that the market has necessarily lost face, but rather was that the news was just housekeeping and the market was aware of that. I did think the price would spike though because it would be pumped as good news (that comment is not directed at anyone on this board but rather at the professional market manipulators) to off-load stock bought in the last couple of weeks. As it is they probably made 8 to 10% profit for two weeks work but I think they had expected more.

If pumping were an olympic sport I think we'd have some medalists

Does no one find it odd that a senior clinical exec from Lilly and former ADA employee did not have a non compete? That is certainly an assumption that he didn’t have one because it appears he transitioned to MNKD quite easily with no legal objections from LLY.

Most of the times only executives / C-suite have non compete . Lilly is so big that Kendall working as Research Physician and Vice President of Global Medical Affairs for Lilly Diabetes could be just one of those vice presidents and there's usually lots of them. Just like Mike in Amgen. Yes they are big positions but one of the many positions and there could be 100's of people with those titles that the corporate dont care to have a non compete.

I don’t agree. I have been asked to sign them many years ago for lower level jobs.

( Independent contractors pay rent and they work out of the gym, ( $60 per hour depending )if you work for the gym you make something like $15 an hour. What they don’t want you to do is quit and take your personal clients with you. But in most cases you had them when you came there. At any rate they make you think they can enforce that but they cannot. Just had a trainer leave the gym I work out of and he took a third of the members with him.
