With the gap on the daily and hourly charts we can see this go down to $4.60 area on any pullbacks, would be a great buying area if looking to add or start a position IMO. This could happen on a bigger overall market correction which is certainly plausible coming towards the back half of Q3 and start of Q4. Having said that, I am expecting increasing coverage and upgrades going forward. πππ»

Well, I reinvested all MNKD balance to AMZN, BABA, AAPL and GOOGL. MNKD is still 4 buckaroo and all of AMZN, BABA, AAPL and GOOGL have gone north. Signs of a possible top in the magnificent "7" and potential break to new highs in MNKD? π€π³π

There is a worthwhile book written by psychologist Robert Sapolsky titled "Wny Zebra's Don't Get Ulcers." The reason zebras and other non-human animals don't get ulcers is that they don't worry about things that could happen. They save mental reserve for actual dangers. I have a (too) large stake in Mannkind and have been an investor for 12 years, certainly well before a long arduous journey to FDA approval. IMO, the company has never been in a better position than it is today. I confess to still shaking my head at the share price movement from time to time, but I'm an investor and not a trader. There is a key difference. SP is only an abstract number until a trade is made. I started sleeping much better at night when I made the decision to (1) Not invest dollars I could not afford to lose (2) make up my own mind, have conviction based on knowledge, and not get distracted by the head fakes and lurches of all the game players and lemmings in the market (which operates a bit like a casino), and (3) keep focused on what is known, not what might happen. At any particular point, a myriad of things could happen, but I find it wise to save mental energy so I can respond appropriately to the things that do happen. Too often, we conflate cost with value, For almost everyone, 100% of the most valuable things in life have nothing to do with the market. Unfortunately, it's easy for us to be conditioned to be hyperresponsive to things involving money because we in the USA live in a culture driven by greed and consumerism. Bank failures become a self-fulfilling prophecy for account holders who withdraw their money out of fear. Unfortunately, these failures are aided and abetted by the "traders" who short bank stocks and feed rumors of impending demise. Good luck to all longs. Awesome post Chris!!! I agree with everything wholeheartedly with the exception of the run on bank statement, if under 250K deposited than yes no real need to panic. However, the shorts on the regionals are legitimately there IMO. Nobody (well except for those that were in the big short) ever expected the financial crisis, the regionals have some major issues to deal with when it comes time soon for the commercial real estate loans to get refinanced. I don't know how that will turn out but some shorts have done their homework I'm sure. They were 100% correct on the previous 4 banks whose equity went to π© π€·. Again great post, continue to sleep well and enjoy your weekend. Btw, Go Knights Go for those that follow hockey sticks π π

Biotechs taking it in the shorts today, XBI currently down 2.25%. The sector is out of favor today even more so/relative than the overall market.

MNKD nasdaq real time volume, 3,024,179 shares. MNKD Nasdaq summary volume, 2,778,540 Avg. Volume 3,072,073 $4.26. +0.23 (+5.71%) MNKD daily. schrts.co/yVDQjtSz. Just talking, Look at MNKD price movement last Oct and Nov. The consolidation and then price pulling out of that consolidation and up, from $3.00 to $5.46 = $2.46. When I look at the price movement from March to present, the pattern resembles the pattern last Oct/Nov. *A charting caveat, notice the line the back test held the downward slope of the wedge break. Seen here as well, weekly MNKD. schrts.co/apWbttyCSymmetry would be a hold of $4.05 plus $2.46 = $6.51. The 20 week on the weekly, $4.75 the magnet. The 100 day on the daily $4.75 the same, magnet. Perhaps if the $compq pushes higher here it will help with the lift off. schrts.co/rCKbjEutXBI up over 7% the last 5 trading days π

Just a semi related note. Friday I sold 30 $6 Feb 17 puts at a limit of $0.10 with the stock trading at 5.50. TD Ameritrade stole the puts and filled the sell at $.10. This is disgusting and ecause of this I'm moving my 75k shares and everything else to IBB. This is by no means an endorsement of IBB but for me, what Ameritrade did is beyond low;besides, IBB margin rates seem much better. The catch is that MNKD has to be over $5 for IBB to accept stock. I've been with IBB for years, no complaints but they're definitely not for everyone, meaning they're very "ala carte" and not too customer service friendly but they are the lowest cost in a lot of areas.

Just got back to US, my annual Thailand trips to visit close friends were interrupted the last 2 yrs. due to the pandemic so was nice to break away to the other side of the planet. My glucose numbers are the best they've been in years with no doubt thanks again to Afrezza. I can't say enough how grateful I am to have it, especially when traveling and in a tropical environment to boot. No surprise to me how well the share price has behaved recently. What a wonderful opportunity we were afforded with that pull back a couple of months ago. As you so vividly point out daily,... peppy "tear down that wall" π

So darn frustrating to watch the price drop so much in the last 10 minutes. Suggestion, stop watching the pot while waiting for it to boil, much less frustrating ππ

Ad Nauseam.... if you do not mind, I feel like typing thoughts...... I have thoughts. Charts. and price movement thoughts and sayings from trading rooms of the past. MNKD MONTHLY. open the chart. ...... hehehe, discuss. schrts.co/YaVutqhJHere is my take. the pattern so good, price behavior playing out well (consider the pressure of the Overall Market Down Trend) Volume coming in, more money coming in the last three months. The 12 dollar target will hit. Bet on it. Charting room tidbits.... Excuse me,Β geomean you ass, said lovingly, are you ever going to show and eyeball this? Charting room tidbits, look for the .382 retrace, which would take MNKD to $22 dollars. Now this gets intriguing, excuse me, RuckingΒ geomean Through the .382, the .50, then the .618. said differently, through the .382.... the .618.... which is $35.22.... intriguing huh? $35.22 is also the wedge top and the wedge break target. Happy New Year all. joeypotsandpans .... hey look it over, lend me your ear..... celo , ditto All, ditto. compound26Absolutely concur, company is maturing/evolving from high risk spec to stable growth. Volatility has come in and steady bottom left to rising right trend in place accordingly. Institutions can feel more confident with a stable sp over $5 which is showing in accumulation (OBV is evident) As I've stated before, in the past I never would have gotten approved for my script with Optum but that has changed, hell they're giving me a harder time with getting my Libre 2 sensors (go figure lol) Just got my refill for 6 box supply of 8u/12u renewed: Reminder: Your auto refill order is being processed Optum Home Delivery More importantly right now OT, I can't emphasize enough for everyone to be careful right now as we head into these next few months of winter as my wife says the ICU units are full of Covid, Flu, and RSV cases (not necessarily in that order). There is still much ignorance and negative misinformation on social media about the vaccine/booster...but the newest booster is showing much better numbers regarding reduced mortality against the latest variants...I will add a link my son sent me to help understand. www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc2214293 Hope everyone has a safe, happy and healthy new year!! π

MNKD Nasdaq real time volume, 4,091,540 shares. MNKD Nasdaq summary volume, 4,082,622 Avg. Volume 4,524,682 $5.20. +0.09 (. +1.76%) MNKD inside week is building. A saying from a trader years ago, out of range contraction comes range expansion.Β A pressure cooker. The divergence in the MNKD chart vs. most stocks and indices is truly eye popping. MNKD is up over 17% YTD, not many can say same. Very impressive indeed. Of course we're talking about the worst year for the markets since 2008 but still the relative strength is like a shining beacon in the middle of a complete sh*tstorm.

Peppy do you mean the run up to $6.25 or $12 (your targets) that you have shown us on your charts? both, one into another. Price should be at $12 in a few months, less than 6 months? Then hold for $20. the 200 month the .382?Β A coiled spring is what they say with this stuff. Do you see a coiled spring the last two years? joeypotsandpans To simplify, stocks making 52 week highs in the midst of bear markets should not be taken lightly. Happy Holidays everyone π
