Because it's back up now, and linked to the MNKD site, what is our continued concern...?? Just askin'... The significance was discussed at length yesterday at "that other board." Some members I respect a great deal indicate this site change is indicative that restructuring of the company is imminent. Mannkind Technologies will be a new company that will take the Technosphere platform and drug pipeline into a completely different entity. The posters used two other companies as examples where website changes immediately preceded a buyout. These are straight up posters, but I honestly didn't know what to think.

I agree with irrationalexuberance the technologies page has been up since at least ADCOM. I remember posting about "your drug our delivery" way before approval on another investing site.

There's been a technologies page for awhile on the Mankind Corp site, but they've never had a MannkindTechnologies.com link. That infers a separate company is in the works IMHO.

Exactly. And the new company does NOT include Afrezza, at least the way the new website exists currently. That that would leave the original company with Afrezza only, which will be partnered or bought out. I'm fine with either scenario for MNKD since I think the far larger opportunity lies with Technosphere/Inhalers/Mannkind Technologies.

I personally think there may be too much speculation on the meaning of this website... IMHO this is because a direct buy-out of Afrezza is highly unlikely though possible. Does not make sense to sell Afrezza because I think it would be hard to create a true value for Afrezza before a sales track record of at least 2 to 3 years. Even if Afrezza just takes off and dominates the market within the first 12 months, which is possible but again IMHO not likely, (I do think Affrezza will take a substantial market share but will take 2 to 3 years to show such growth) a potential buyer would want to see some form of a track record or history of revenue for the kind of money we all expect Al would require for a buy-out. We all generally agree that Al would drive a hard bargain and ask for quite a bit. I do think a future buy out could be structured upfront within the contract.
So while this website for technology may be being built to separate out technosphere I think it may ultimately be more for B2B marketing purposes, at least in the short term and not as part of a restructuring prior to a complete sale/buy-out of mannkind.
GLTA!

In addition to the site not being anything new, neither is the "Our Technology" link on www.mannkindcorp.com - this has also been around for some time.

I would interpret that as a signal of confidence by Mannkind. I didn't know it's been around that long. thanks

mannkindtechnologies.com website is down again this a.m. For a website that doesn't appear to have "changed" for quite some time, they sure are having a lot of trouble keeping it up (:> Or not??? Monday might be an interesting day.

Monday might be an interesting day. Wonder if this is a frequent occurrence, or if we are just noticing it more because people are monitoring it more. Well, here's hoping they surprise us and announce positive news today.

Well that is certainly interesting...can anybody smarter than I am figure out if other unrelated sites are hosted on the same provider, and if they're down as well?

The technologies website is down again. I'd be willing to bet that it was put up by mistake and taken down until some type of announcement could be made. I also looked at it yesterday and it is very professionally done website (in my opinion, better than the Mannkindcorp one).
