Matt, traderdennis and all others on this board who fail to give credit to Mike and company will be but a fart in the wind soon. Mike is freaking Houdini! Mannkind has how many employees?.... I think Yahoo says 250+. They are also hiring. MNKD - is somewhere between too big to fail (kidding) and straight up on their way to the big-time. Stock is trading at less than 40-cents pre-split. You decide. Me? I'm an Afrezza user with an easy life as a type 1 now, (A1C 5.4) where before Afrezza, it was a struggle for me. I keep buying MNKD stock because...of what I just said. Easy life at A1C of 5.4! No wonder you are strong on MNKD. Congrats! Thanks for sharing your story.

All this positive, highly optimistic news regarding the future of MNKD is music to my ears. Though, we hear this every time they have a webcast, it still gives me hope. After all on March 1st of 2017 4 out of every 5 shares I owned were taken from me in the 5:1 reverse split. I went from over 200k shares to +40k shares in one day, that hurt. But, it's nice to know that Mike C and the rest of the MNKD team is really working hard to make this company successful.
My struggle is that while this is happening, and I'm buying and selling MNKD to get my bottom dollar less, I might miss the big move. Or if I conceive a big move and then buy into thinking I'm going to miss it, I might get stuck again when the price doesn't make the big move and comes back down again. Or do I keep buying the stock while its cheap and wait it out....like I have been doing anyway...
I think many of us may be in the same boat?

Please tell me that MNKD stock is only a portion of your overall net worth.

JEvans ... try pressing that Quote button first. But, you are selling and buying lower priced shares for what reason? In other words you are taking losses now and sitting on it because you won't have anything to balance it out. Okay. So, what is your cost basis now? Hopefully you were buying more shares at a lower cost and averaging down. What do you think share price will be later? I believe that you think it is going up and that's why you keep buying back in. If so, you should just sit on it and just add low costing shares when you have extra cash. The more you buy and sell your shares, you just add commission costs that inflate your cost basis. Churn and burn only works if you are selling at a profit and buying back at a lower cost. I'm not sure what my pps is Maybe $6 or $7 a share??? But, I don't plan on selling anytime soon and expect this baby to fly. I think you need to rethink your strategy. Good Luck !!!

You mean by on dips and do not sell on rips because the days the rips come back down are pretty much over:-))

Am not sure DF will as I understand deal is tied to Afrezza revenue not Corp revenue. And don’t think they hit the necessary $50 to trigger DF milestone payment w Aftezza next year. If they do a happy problem. If I am wrong I stand corrected. it is all time net Afrezza revenue. It won't take much. If I recall, it is closing in on 40 Million all time.

I just sold a bunch of MNKD yesterday for 1.96 and repurchased this morning at 1.77, so I was able to add over 500 shares of MNKD stock to my portfolio, which will lower my cost basis. Maybe we should start a thread on lowering cost basis. Their must be a bunch of people holding hope.

Yay !!! JEvans found the quote button !!! So you are officially a day trader ... or, every other day trader. Looking at the numbers you traded about 5,000 shares ... but, I assume that you aren't day trading your total stock holding of MNKD. What would you have done if MNKD was over $2 in the morning? Panic? Picking highs and lows consistently is really difficult. Wow, I really do miss day trading ! Those rapid highs and lows really are exciting ! But, MNKD opening at over $4 this morning isn't a far reach also. Think about it ...

Let me reflect on one 400 share trade that I made in my day trading days. I can't remember the stock, but it was fairly high priced and moving. I bought it in the morning and was up $8k in a flash. Then, my wife told me that I had to take my daughter to school NOW! Long story short ... I returned in about half and hour and I had lost that $8k and was down $5k !!! So, $13k swing in half an hour ... and panic !!! Dumped it to cut losses. End of day, the stock balanced out and I would have ended the day up $10k.
Moral of the story ... I should have hired a limo to take her to school.
