I am looking to help my Type 1 brother in law to be prepared to ask for a change of treatment the next time he goes in for his doctor visit. He has United Health at his work and I believe Dexcom is now the preferred cgm provider on his plan. I think he will have to pay more for Afrezza as it isn't preferred but I think Mannkind has coupons or something. Is my best course of action to contact mannkindcares.com for help or is there a nice succinct package of info he should take with him to the doctor. Should I print out the study released at the ADA? Would it be better to contact VDEX? We live in Wisconsin. By the way the Nurse Practitioner at our works Husband is also Type 1 and I have convinced her to try and use my brother in law as her own case study to understand the benefits better. My brother is 37 and his A1C is just over 9.

Don't take my word for this but I believe the physician has to contact mannkindcares.com and then they provide the necessary forms to fill out to help get prior authorization. However, I don't think they provide information to help convince the doc to prescribe afrezza.

MNKD is responsible for preserving or promoting old links. It’s been an issue with them for quite some time.

Mnkd has no time for such issues. For the ones who drop the ball need their ass fired and no exceptions to who it may be.It's time to have all hands on deck and set sail ⛵.

Hire experienced people and avoid these issues.

Ya it goes on and on the so called little things. Mike has managed to keep the lights on and I'm sure he busy but it appears he has no cheer leading coworkers. Most of them are there for a check,no pride in what they do. I wish I could manage it for 30days there would be some!long faces. I pray Mike reads this.

My brother is 37 and his A1C is just over 9. afrezza.aspnprograms.com/www.helprx.info/afrezzadiscounts-couponsThis coupon is not an Afrezza coupon -- it is a Prescription Savings code no different than GoodRx, Discount Drug Network, etc. Not a bad thing, but probably only saves about 8% from cash price. It cannot be used in conjunction with insurance. The code on the coupon can be used for any medication, and yes on some generics it will save up to 75%.
