Sales gains quarter over quarter that illustrate that Afrezza has taken off in the marketplace and that break even is imminent. This drastically reduces the need for dilution except to finance trials for additional drug formulations. I'm not so interested in deals such as with UTHR (although positive in general) since that does not represent our core focus which is selling Afrezza.

Only those who say they are long in their profile are long. It's as simple as that... Ummm....not necessarily....I'm long but didn't specify....not as long as a lot of the members on this board but long enough to feel the pain of the RS and price drops prior....

Is there a reason to not specify a profile sentiment on an investment discussion board? It only takes a minute and should only help other members to have a better context when reading one's posts, right? You bet there is

No reason to require something that can't be verified. If a FUD person wanted to fool people he wouldn't say he was short.

I appreciate your post ktim. It's very possible that Mike will be successful but it sure isn't happening right now. Shares continue to be diluted while results remain stagnant. This does not impact me but it certainly does everyone who holds shares. While I may seem negative about management I am certainly bullish on the prospects for Afrezza. It's time for this to take off.......somehow! Falcon, What signal will alert you to jump back in? Best of luck! Responding rather than replying, as I cannot speak for someone else, and not that I can jump in any further than I am, subjectively speaking, but if I were to consider what I might recommend to potential new investors would be looking for one or perhaps two of the following: 1) Another large deal like UTHR to validate TS has large potential as platform, lessening the importance of Afrezza for MNKD fortunes. 2) Large jump in insurance coverage such as if Medicare coverage ever materializes some future January. 3) Sustained meaningful upward trend in NRx. If Afrezza is to be considered a key component of MNKD value, it must be shown to be getting meaningfully increased acceptance within medical community. New docs and increase in number of new patients they are willing to prescribe to is needed to show up in NRx numbers. If it is still a limited, stagnant number of docs prescribing to a handful of new to drug patients every month, that would mean linear growth in Afrezza (excluding price hikes) and a long, long way to profits. Those are things that I think might make investors (as opposed to gamblers) take a serious look at MNKD. Yes, you might miss some period of price increase in waiting for these, but I also think MNKD would be a great investment once one or more of those materialize.

There are only 2 choices to make money in MNKD: Long or Short This board is intended for people that either have a position in MNKD stock or interested in starting a position, is it not ? If there is another purpose, I am not aware of it Hedging a position does not change one's thesis on how they intend to make money in MNKD ... I am here to make money being long MNKD, that is why my profile says Long. And I accept that I could be wrong in the end but I am not ashamed of my long thesis. I also accept that anyone can purposely update their status to Long or anything in between to mislead others, and that is fine, it's on me to figure out... What I do not accept (and recommend to other real investors not to accept) are opinions and ideas from the ones who obvously have something to hide GLTAL

I never make decisions based solely on the opinions of anonymous people with unknown backgrounds and unknown intentions. I always listen to the well pedigreed on Wall Street where you can be assured of bad intentions.

You bet there is I'm pretty sure you can tell whether someone's is long or not just by the type of posts they write regardless of what their profile states. In fact, I don't believe I've ever paid attention to a poster's profile when reading their posts.

We've never required anyone to specify their position. Each member can make their own decision about what to share on this board. Likewise, each of you can draw your own decision about any other member's position or motivation. But discussion by one member about another member's presumed position does not belong on this forum.
So let's keep things relevant. And with that, time to lock this thread.
