This is great news! Make one ponder, however, whether Mannkind will start receiving money for this partnership before or after the runway expires? Third international partnership; $0.00 income thus far. Hope it happens sooner rather than later. Even if there is no up front money, the volume will help with fixed manufacturing costs and the supply agreement with Amphastar. There won’t be any volume until approval, which we’ve seen from Brazil and India could take longer than expected.

At least they don't carry another insulin product or other drug like that is prescribed for diabetes so no competition from within.

The V-GO is an interesting product, however, it uses humalog/novolog as bolus through out the day so it just eliminates the multiple sticks but it is still using the archaic insulins. The rep that I had in Vegas and transferred to Pasadena is now working for that company. She was most likely let go during the sales rep purge and landed there. I tried texting her but no response. She originally was with Dexcom prior to MNKD, she is now with a penny company (VLRX) trading currently at .28 so thinking she is not a happy camper these days.

Good news & the team is obviously trying their best. But if people here in the USA don’t know about Afrezza what makes one think folks in other countries will hear & know about Afrezza? Going to take deep pockets to get awareness out & doctors prescribing in those countries.... just saying

I remember being very excited about Brazil distribution agreement. That was in May 2017...
Even though I love seeing this new agreement, I will get excited about it only after Brazil is approved and shipments begin.

Brazil and India seem to be slow and corrupt in processing as Mike alluded to. Australia has an extremely good healthcare system. #2 in the world. The administrators probably have a much better understanding of the benefits of Afrezza and can move those medications to the people that need it faster. Afrezza is an expensive medication, but with a country like Australia or New Zealand there is a higher chance of uptake than India or Brazil due to their overall higher GDP per capita.

The Australian system is designed to make sure the people of Australia stay healthy
