Disappointing, though not surprising, there is no upfront or milestone structure. Management previously mentioned preferring regional deals rather than one off countries. It appears this is further indication opportunities for partnering with larger companies for much broader international rights have not been available. Hopefully there are at least some performance timelines for approval submission so this company can't truly sit of the rights waiting for sales to improve in US without doing anything or dragging their feet.

Once Afrezza gets approved the deal will be renegotiated with upfront money. Mike mentioned it during the ASM. They will renegotiate with BIOMM & CIPLA upon approval.

That is not how “upfront money” works. And if that was that case, there would have been a clause about payment upon approval. Sounds like hot air on Mike’s part.

At what time point is this discussion of renegotiation mentioned. I don't see why a partner would give away extra money that wasn't in the original deal. That would be a first for me in a long business career. Hopefully Mike's not resorting to making things up. If he tried renegotiating extra payments I think he'd get a simple "No thanks, we'd rather keep our money."

Who was the Afrezza advocate from Australia who did the Coke Challenge with Afrezza. I’m surprised that he hasn’t re-surfaced now that MannKind announced its new distribution partner.

Matt went off Afrezza after @ a year secondary to expense. compound26 Matt figured out afrezza to a detail. He was the first that I heard talk about a second dose. Additionally, he is an artist and gave us a lot of material. Matt figured out the first phase and told us. He made the following graphic; it was on one of his videos. Then there was the burying Afrezza in a green house for a few months and then trying it. It worked.
