I wondered about Afrezza sales to the US military and would appreciate any comments or info on that aspect of the sales initiative.

I served in the military for about 22 years and never knew of anyone who was diabetic T1 or T2. It wouldn't make any sense on the battlefield; too many logistics. Heck, we were required to go to dental to ensure our teeth were up to par before being deployed.

Maybe not Afrezza but instant pain relief or Adrenalin would be nice

Demand would likely be low for military personnel, but could be significant for their spouses and children, who are also covered by Tricare.

MannKind does have patents on Technosphere API to be used against chemical warfare. Needles are not field friendly due to heat and combat gear.

Don't worry people ... I don't need to use insulin/Afrezza yet. Although I am considered to be a disabled veteran ... due to all that partying. But, that's mytakeonit

Heck, we were required to go to dental to ensure our teeth were up to par before being deployed. I served in the military as well. One of my former Army brothers retired as a 4-star within the last four years (don't want to narrow it down for identification purposes...and all that HIPAA stuff!). He is a T1. He must have been diagnosed really late and gotten a waiver. I never knew until I gave him a bear hug, felt his pump and asked him about it. This guy had plenty of combat assignments.
