Anyone knows the exact date and time of expiration?
Wishing for warrants to expire worthless and later an equity partner announced may be UTHR.

PPS should not move on expiration. What happens after that is a whole different story.

PPS should not move on expiration. What happens after that is a whole different story. My favorite scenario is UT buying in because that would show such a vote of confidence. But I don’t understand how one coordinates with the other and I think that’s what slug is asking... Since there’s so many rumors on ST about it. Maybe that’s not what he means, and maybe that isn’t what you’re thinking. What do you expect to happen afterwards?

Nate seems to believe the warrants expiration date may be significant for activity. It seems the logic has been that no big player would buy in prior to the expiration date due to the risk that the warrants might be exercised causing a dilution relative to the investment just made. Granted if that happened, Mannkind's cash situation would simultaneously improve. There is the possibility that a big player might want to make an investment after the warrant expiration but before the end of the 2019 calendar year for a variety of reasons that include accounting. Having followed this stock for years, I will expect nothing but want to stay aware of the possibilities. It could get interesting quickly.

When Midcap amended the finance agreement specifically mentioning UTHR as being a part of their consideration and raising the payoff to 7% it says UTHR is already all in and Midcap wanted to make sure they didnt get pushed out early. UTHR does not need to buy in they just need to be able to without notice to put more pressure on the PPS. In my opinion MC is handling this well and my confidence is high.

Sometimes a company streamlines operations and cuts down to bare minimum on expenses just before going up for sale. Roughly 10% of the float is coming off the liabilities section as far as book value goes. Add a clearer path to profitability(at least break even) on Afrezza and a couple more pipeline assets( Tre-T approval, mysterious UTHR molecule, a P1 advancement etc.) and we're starting to look very attractive as a bolt on for BP.
I know.....we've speculated on a sale forever. However, in this case, warrants expiring certainly doesn't make us less attractive. IMHO

I bought a bunch of Jan 2020 OTM calls on the chance somebody buys in after warrants expiration (or exercise). Albeit I was also betting on improved sales which hasn’t really happened.
