Who is going to move this platform forward, and when? I think most of the long term folks here recognize where we sit, it's go time! I believe it's time for a powerhouse BP to take the reins. Six months is the window I see for a change of leadership and accelerated growth.

It still may be a long slog, but it appears now that they do have the ability to raise equity based funding when cash is needed (barring some market wide turmoil such as '08). What makes you think there is only a 6 month window? A majority of BoD will be replaced by irate shareholders? MNKD will need to authorize more shares and it will be voted down by irate shareholders, and that precipitates change?

I believe the pieces are in place, or soon will be, that were missing when Sanofi took a run at it, Peds, SOC, expanded label, additional products, etc.. It is easy to look back and see the affect a BP had on Afrezza sales vs the small Mannkind sales team. We sit at a bit of a crossroads with UTHR, Afrezza, patent length etc., all of which points to a near term product adoption acceleration / change of structure. I think all the irate issues will soon become a non-issue (observing that Hooper is already being accused of sloth on ST) it is obvious from who, and how quickly, the mud slinging begins (he starts tomorrow) . I am long and have a long view on this investment, having been in it for this amount of time it appears to me that the time is now for shifting gears. All the pieces of the puzzle will not yet be in place when things heat up. IMHO.

I thought you meant you saw some precipitating event that would force an end to the underfunded go it alone strategy we've been on. I guess a lot of varied opinion from people here whether go-it-alone or finding a partner (if indeed anyone would want to partner) at this point would be better for long term shareholder value. I tend to feel that by the time there was any interested BP partner it would likely mean MNKD has already succeeded to the point it would make more sense to stick it out on their own.
