“It doubles the amount of times you have to think about and deal with your diabetes” Haha,,, thats funny!! People with diabetes are NEVER not thinking about and dealing with their diabetes. And my wife has a 5.6 A1c with incredible TiR, and is living like a non diabetic. When is someone other than her going to figure out how to use this miracle drug!?!?!. I am painfully aware of the realities of having Type 1, that moment when you feel slightly strange and you wonder if it's your levels or normal. Wondering if you CGM is accurate at the moment. Compression lows waking you up in the night. There are a ton of things. That's why adding more is a lousy option. I am glad that it works so well for your wife. However, that doesn't mean it will work equally well for all diabetics (or the outcomes from the trials would be far better) which is why Type 1 diabetics seldom criticize other peoples treatment choices. They are well aware that one size does not fit all despite what the medical world thinks (another sore point). Hippie- Your comments would hold some weight if you actually tried Afrezza. AFAIK, you haven't yet you post here more than most spouting your negativity on Afrezza. Something is just a slight bit off with that combo. My comment on your nonstop negative comments is me putting it as politely as possible.

I have gone over my reasons both for being here and for not using Afrezza countless times, they are all back there in the old posts. I don't think Afrezza is bad, on the contrary I think for some people it's perfect. What I don't think is that it's perfect for everyone and that is reflected in the retention rate. On the other hand I think management, Mike specifically, are a long way out of their depth and that's me putting it as politely as possible.

So agedhippie is actually a short or a paid basher, according to this theory? Just trying to understand correctly what you’re “putting as politely as possible.”

The only reason you've given for not using Afrezza that I could remember was this, from May 2016 - four years ago. Still waiting?
"All of this said - I would like to move to Afrezza but right now I am going to hold back and see if any lung issues materialize. I want someone else to be the guinea pig. There have been the trials and a years use, but I want bigger numbers of users for a couple of years before I move."

Ha.
Would be really funny if one of them references “the recent article published by Looking for Diogenes”.
Would be epic.

Aged has always been clear on why he does not use afrezza. He/She goes to one of "the best" endos in NYC and they told him afrezza will cause lung issues. That was 5 years ago. I guess the endo is still waiting as hope springs eternal. Aged's endo may one day be right but I doubt it. I don't think we are going to see any exploding lungs any time soon. In fact we are seeing better lung function in some. Lets face it, insulin does not cause cancer and the lung was designed to handle substances much worse than FDKP like pollen. Unlike the GLP1s afrezza does not cause cancer.

No mention of MNKD there, so yep still zero effect of this message board on MNKD share price.

But, that's mytakeonit Of all the posters who I wish could actually move the share price, Mr. takeonit is atop the list. Imagine, we would be at $10 by next month and $100 by year end! Or wait, those were your predictions for 2018, and again in 2019. The boy who cried wolf.

I leave for a few months and look at the mess I come back to (#ada2020 brought me here AND I got mentioned in this thread so a sidenote on that, yeah the follow up dose sucks but whatever ). RE the OP of this thread, I doubt Dexcom cares too much about the graphs, their goal with the G7 is cheaper access to all so they're trying to tap in to the T2 market to take from the Libre. Aged made the point that they DO care about integrations with Insulet, Tandem, and Tidepool so I'll stand by my old statements that if Mannkind wants Dexcom to care they need to get bluhale out and integrated. Make it work like Companion Medicals InPen with the alerts (and how they advertise, it's all over my Instagram) and you've got a solid play.

That 15 year old kid is now 35. He settled with the SEC in 2000.
