Tell me why? Really starting to wonder about all this. Late decision to go to Piper J. Might not be a good thing. Yeah, I am being negative, but a third of his holdings? Check out MNKD site.

Juergens has been selling via 105b-1 for awhile. They all trigger at the end of months. Happened in September, October and now November so it's nothing new. Mr. Thompson is the VP currently going thru a divorce so his 105b-1 is set to liquidate a portion of his shares/options
In other words, it's disconerting but in the grand scheme of things no big deal. Imo of course

Imo of course Not even certain it is disconcerting. If I had all my wealth in one stock and could cash in a million $ or so every once and a while (while getting more shares later...) I would be very tempted to set up one of these prearranged plans... JPG

And when they set these plans up they may well have anticipated that the share price would be much higher after the partnership announcement. I wonder if the SEC allows them to have a plan with a minimum sell price... i.e. one these particular dates I'll sell X shares if the price is Y or higher. That would be very useful info to investors to know what that price would be for some insiders.

These sales by Martens and Thompson are routine and expected. Pfeffer's sales seem to be at certain price targets, and Al and Hakan never sell. Those are the 3 to watch.

Actually not more than I wanted to understand, so thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to pull all that up for me. It still seems like a lot of shares to cash out at any one time, but again thanks to all replies that explained it to me. A little holiday tension on my part !

Referring to the above explanation, can we consider that insider trading may be used also as indication that no major news / announcements might be expected in the near future after the occurrence of the deals? I am asking this having in mind the approaching PJ conference.
