Thanks for the post. Some of the slides appear updated from the original date on them , the Dreamboat is shown vs the Medtone. I wonder what data/results have been studied in 2014 using Afrezza with pumps. I guess MDT & SNY know !

Afrezzauser just met with Dr. Bode in Atlanta. Here's his tweet:

I read that post by afrezzauser regarding Dr Bode's reaction. Bode has over 250 publications, articles & books and supposedly is an internationally-recognized expert on emerging diabetes treatments. He would be a good one to get behind Afrezza.
I'm impressed how Sam is taking Afrezza to some movers & shakers in the medical community.

Dr Bodes reaction is reaffirming. Sams enthusiasm not to mention CGM readings are inspiring.
Hearing Dr Bodes name brings back to mind the various trials be conducted on the Artificial Pancreas and Bionic Pancreas, Closed loop and Open Loop systems, and the variety of Insulin Pumps with incorporated CGMs being developed by MDT, J&J, etc.. at Boston U, Mass Gen, and UCSB with the support of the JDRF. Would like to hear Dr Bodes speak of how he thinks automated insulin delivery & CGM will be incorporated into T1s, particularly children, and how AFZ may alter pump and software design. The Samsun Bionic Pancreas project is the only one utilizing AFZ for meal time control in combo with insulin pump and CGM (dexcom).
Does Sam (Afrezzauser) only utilize AFZ and a CGM? i.e. no insulin pump, no SQ?

Sam Finta aka Afrezzauser is a Type 1 diabetic, so he also uses basal insulin, as all T1's must.

Thanks. I am aware of T1s need for basal insulin. Just thought I had read he was experimenting or testing his glucose control with AFZ only. I am probably mistaken.
