Great stuff. Need to get the word out that SANOFI has not put Afrezza on the shelf (shorts rumor) but in fact is getting it ready to hit the shelves of pharmacies nationwide. SHORTLY launch will take place.

This is dated 12 December, has it been out since then or was it just posted this weekend?

What's interesting is that its in its PR area. Seems like staging for an announcement, or at least perhaps, for the conference.

Some things I've noticed: 1. SNY products area. While Afrezza is not yet there, the standard is for each product to have its own 'microsite'. E.g. www.lantus.com. www.afrezza.com as been around a while, and links to the Afrezza page on mannkind.com 2. No top navigation on www.afrezza.com page. This is what one would expect if linking directly from the SNY products area. SNY would not want any navigation away from the topic or SNY's website. 3. Its been on mannkind.com for a while. But unusual to have it on your own website, without navigation through your own site. To me, this looks like easy staging for direct links from SNY - though I would imagine a clean cut over for launch would be to have SNY manage the afrezza.com microsite moving forward, and simply redirect the URL. Change over would be pretty seamless. One day, the link goes live under the Products area on SNY US website. .02

Sanofi JPM conference today. Speaker mentined Al Mann being in the audience. A major continuium of care for Diabetics. Not much other mention. Q & A is later and not sure if it is broadcast. Two slides from the slide deck. Notice where the Afrezza logo is positioned on this slide. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

The slide is old (nothing new in months) and no mention was made of any new information about the launch. No mention of the kinetics of the drug to mimic the pancreas. I was disappointed..... I had listened to the one for Piper Jaffray back in November and the slides seemed identical. he spoke incessantly about the products that they developed and evened mentioned that they plan on launching Tourjeo in Q1 (it was either Q1 or 1H), but did not provide any guidance on the launch of Afrezza, even to reaffirm a Q1 launch. It was if he just reused the same November slide deck..... and went through the motions to deliver the same "old" information.
Nice of him to mention that Al Mann was in the audience, but Al was probably there to see if he could get him to provide a little more guidance on Afrezza - why would he not? Mentioning Exhubra is news that is several years old and didn't add anything to the presentation. I just don't underestand why, if they want Afrezza to be a blockbuster, would they not want to shout it to the rooftops and compare it to the invention of the wheel or sliced bread?
