Yep. One look at Chris-c's avatar illustrates he has become more balanced since joining this forum and has nearly recovered from what the YaZoo lunatics did to his brilliant mind. Chris is spot on. There will be a big celebration coming for longs. But Schultzie - I mean, Holdem, you are also on Yazoo .... how do you ever manage?

Dear All I have been an avid reader of this board for quite sometime and am one of those whom you enticed to join when various threads became member only. I have been an investor in MNKD since the IPO. - and I plan to stay long, having the utmost confidence in the company. I doubt I will be a contributor to the discussion but thought it only polite to introduce myself and not be a faceless onlooker. Thanks for the intelligent and informative discussions. Its a lovely community you have here. Well, I'm glad you finally joined. Who knows, maybe you'll jump into the conversation some day.

There will be a big celebration coming for longs. But Schultzie - I mean, Holdem, you are also on Yazoo .... how do you ever manage? Q2U, I manage to navigate YaZoo with relatively minor psychological damage by reading only those contributors who I know or trust (for either good information or comedy). That means that "I know nothing...NOTHING" about the contents of roughly 90% of those posts. I am not derelict in my duties to this forum and regularly post "additional information may be found at ProBoards MNKD" whenever possible. I have several companies to run, so as much as I enjoy perusing the boards, I don't have the time to read every post. I also raised - correction, helped raise - two very intelligent and extremely outspoken daughters, which means that I have been immunized against mental manipulation and coercion for many years. Although, as you can see, I wear a helmet ocassionally for good measure. jbceruti, welcome! A word of caution is warranted. A certain resident here by the name of baba will undoubtably sidle up to you at some point, call you "jb" (to imply you're on a first-name basis and a valued friend) who hopes he can rely on you someday to defend him when he posts something worthy of us ganging up on him. While this strategy to immediately secure your friendship might seem a little forward, if not unnerving, he really is a friendly, sincere fellow, and means no harm. It's also true that baba has been with MannKind since the IPO, so maybe this is an alumni kind of familiarity...like Animal House?

Welcome JB! Congratulations on having the wisdom to be an IPOer and showing the conviction to hang in there! No doubt you've already noticed that we have great personalities on this board. In my opinion, it's the perfect blend of humor, informed dialogue, respectful debate, and group expectation for civility and reason that keeps folks involved here. Your opinions and observations are welcome here (unless you're a short ). Regards, Chris-C

compared to YMB, everyone here is a gentleman (or gentlewoman)! Amazing what just a pinch of accountability can do for the quality of a community, isn't it?
