MNKD Sept High was $6.30, now we are at an intraday of $5.72, down 9% from it's Sept. high. OK, it is a little painful for MNKD longs, but take a look at BIOD. BIOD had a Sept. high of $5.03 and is at $3.12 intraday now. That is down 38% from it's sept. high. OK, this doesn't really make me feel much better about MNKD being down, but I am thankful that I do not own BIOD. I continue to be nervously patient to wait this thing out. I strongly believe that we will wake up soon to a major partnership announcement. IMO, George Rho and Joe Springer are the experts in forecasting the future for MNKD. They certainly have the facts on their side. I can wait, but I have got to stay well hydrated as I sweat this thing out.

I bought back all my trading shares yesterday. I'm hoping for another spike before we near PDUFA. I'm sure as we get nearer to that point, AF and friends will start another bashing campaign.

Spiro:
My hydration campaign is well in gear but not sure my liver can keep up with all of the price fun lately. With 7,000,000 shares traded so far today who in the heck is folding their cards at this point?

It seems a majority of the sell trades are coming from FINRA executions. I don't know a lot about FINRA but it appears that there's a lot of Brokers selling not only MNKD but other Bios to cover Margin Calls. Am I wrong?

I caught the falling knife today near near the close. I paid $1.95 for 20 Jan 2015, $5 call contracts. I am hoping the knife doesn't go right through my hand and land on my gout toe. If it does hit my toe, I will probably buy 20 more contracts. BTW, I am running out of bottled water.

The stock market action is telling me that no partnership will be forthcoming any time soon. My hope is that it's because Al is driving a very hard bargain. That implies that he may "go it alone", and the market is pricing in the coming dilution. Happy to entertain anyone else' opinion.

you could be right or it could just be that little government shutdown thing going on that's spooking the market.

Biotech, all biotech, is in the cross-hairs of this general sell-off. Margin clerks will be busy and when you get a call, you usually need to sell something. If you have a biotech heavy portfolio, you're likely going to sell biotech.

Don't think they will go it alone as with all the current job postings there is nothing for senior sales or marketing positions. All focused on production.

I think this recent downward movement is entirely the government shutdown. I think it'll be resolved by either the government coming back online or MNKD submitting their NDA and everything still moving forward (if our theory of "they already paid" actually works). Good buying opportunity IMO if you have the money.

Spiro, Be careful with that knife going through that gouty toe of yours! With Obamacare you may have a hard time finding a Podiatrist to take care of it. But with all that $ you are going to make with those cheap options you can afford to pay out of your pocket.

LOL, my Podiatrist is Docbadfeet. He controls a lot more shares of MNKD than I do. His toes have also caught more knives than mine. Docbadfeet is a guru when it comes to biotech stocks. He was a major shareholder in both Kos Pharmaceutical and Mederax prior to their buyouts. BTW, he likes MNKD better than both of them. But, he still has to learn to protect his feet better. personally, i am getting tired of limping around these days.

Spiro, if you are still limping around you better get over to docbadfeet before Obamacare kicks in. Or when MNKD HITS $50 your docbadfeet may retire.
