So agree. Every time I see an investor trying to 'help' a diabetic I wonder what they are thinking. They can't possibly think this will help us? Are they shorts trying to make us look bad? etc...

The internet and especially social media is ruining the world. People are losing the ability to interact with the real world. The problem with communicating over social media, texting, and the internet is this. Less than 10% of communication is actually what you say. When you interact through social media, you automatically lose 90% of communication. I have never used facebook or twitter. I use some places like this, but I refuse to use facebook or twitter. I just don't see how either add any value to our existence.

But to say social media is ruining the world, and that they don't add any value to our existence? That seems a bit of a stretch. How about the instantaneous, unfiltered (at least the moment) sharing of ideas/events/news? How about social media's role in numerous recent uprisings like the Arab Spring? Don't blame the social networks themselves, though. They're only as pointless or dumb as the people using them.

Can you imagine what script counts would be WITHOUT Social Media ? I'm grateful for Sam, Eric , Brian ,Amy & the countless other PWD who are helping one another Via these forums . They have their place to post & share knowledge & we have Ours & if we keep it that way all will be fine . I appreciated Sams blog today & we should all heed his advise . PWD probably feel similar when investors intrude in their space , just as we have when the occasional short in disguise has shown up here . Unlike the shorts spreading FUD , investors do have good intentions but it won't ever be received that way . We need to get out of our own way . They are doing an excellent job spreading the word
