If all goes as well as expected, Crusader is going to have an amazing story to share with the board in a couple of weeks/month's. Stay tuned on this one. Spiro here, it sure seems like most Afrezza user's have a great story to tell. Hmmmmm If only Mannkind had a great story to tell us. We still wait.... Well the results are in. The 21 day drop in A1C was only .1 and there I was looking for a .2 drop. 90 days could be nice. Attachment Deleted

But how have you physcially and mentally felt during your 21 days on Afrezza vs your old method of controlling your diabetes?

This is amazing because I had never monitored anything but my FBG. Now I'm seeing it all "From a different point of view" to quote Jimmy Buffett. I feel better and I'm having to juggle.
You might just look all around you and you'll see 1000's of T2's just like me. I am a huge part of the market for Afrezza. Afrezza is impacting my diabetes control.........but I'm motivated. Very interesting.

After visiting my ENDO yesterday, AND GETTING EVERYTHING TWEETED, it only seems natural that I should post a 100 FBG this morning. Did I mention that I'd lost 4 pounds. Oh My, Oh My not bad for an old guy. I thought the only thing I was losing was my memory.

Blindhog, what were your endo's thoughts on your appointment?

Blindhog, what were your endo's thoughts on your appointment? Great question! First is that WE will be having a very good year. My A1C's for the past 2 years ranged from 7.7 to 8.6 and this one was 7.3. He dropped my Basal another 2 units because of the lows and because of my readings at night before bed. He patted me on the back for the weight loss. Then he told me I wasn't doing anything more special than the other 8 patients he had on Afrezza (he gave no details). Now I will be adjusting my own Basal dose, but record keeping will continue as before.

Holy Mackerel <*(((>< I slept like a rock last night. I'm usually an early riser. This morning my FBG was 108 at 10:30. I don't know how an extra 3-4 hours of sleep effects the numbers.....but there it is.
Checking out the Time Magazine DTC advertising was interesting. It appears that Sanofi is making a direct appeal to the Baby Boomers. Who would have guessed it? A whole generation that still reads magazines, that is worried about their health, that has insurance and a lobby. Oh My, what are they thinking.

Two dozen days into Afrezza and my FBG was 92 this morning. It seems that a persons body gets used to using Afrezza. So far I haven't had any of the complaints I read about by the naysayers. My biggest problem was night time Basal and my BG level and that's become a routine matter. I seem more alert, and everyone knows we need more lerts.

FBG of 69 this morning. I thought it would be lower because of the low BG at bedtime. I'm questioning some of my readings and having to take them again with another meter, only to find out they are right. Hard understanding my BG going down by 20 pts an hour after eating. I'm getting used to it.

Here I am 26 days into my Afrezza life style with a FBG of 100. I'm beginning to experience strange dreams. Last night I wandered into a bakery that turned out to be a maze. At the end of each turn was another pastry I'd been longing for. In the center of the maze was a huge sheet of baklava. Behind the baklava was the image of Spiro in an apron and chefs hat.
