Strange dreams as a result of inhaling... Sound familiar, anyone? Munchies?
Could be an ad campaign for Colorado.
it's great to hear about your success with Afrezza. Good Health to All!

it's great to hear about your success with Afrezza. Good Health to All! We all know that smoking pot is bad for your lungs....switch to edibles.
Only problems I can see is the nutritional labeling and the issue of double dosing.
I can see it now: Fred how many muffins was in that carton? I can't remember either. Should we hit a 4 unit cartridge or an 8 unit cartridge. Carbs don't count with the gummy bears, I don't think they have any. Let's leave the chocolate alone, you know it's too sweet..........

This morning FBG topped 116. What was I thinking with those Vanilla Wafers and Peanut Butter. Ten is too many and 4 isn't enough. It's getting to the point that choosing the right night time snack is becoming a major decision point. I wish life had always been so easy. Afrezza is going to be a life changer for so many people.

Today we had a wonderful FBG of 75. I'm practicing with my evening snacking. It seems to be working.
I've been noticing a little dissension in the ranks lately. Nothing that can't be handled by the referees. I'm certainly glad I don't get into trouble shooting my mouth off with crazy facts and statics. I'm so low keyed that Cramer and Kliff have blocked me on Twitter. See what telling your story gets you.

Hey Blind I've been enjoying your posts for several reasons. One your sense of humor makes each days update a treat to read. It's also exciting to live semi-vicariously through your success. I was wondering though, as I honestly don't know enough about diabetes to fully understand the #'s you post every day, if you would provide a quick laymans explanation? I get the gist that your FBG (not sure that stands for) should be low (how low?) but not much else. Anyway, enjoying your success and hope for more to come.

A normal sugar level is less than 100 mg/dL after not eating (fasting) for at least 8 hours. And it's less than 140 mg/dL 2 hours after eating. During the day, levels tend to be at their lowest just before meals. For most people without diabetes, blood sugar levels before meals hover around 70 to 80 mg/dL. FBG = Fasting Blood Glucose

Dang Peppy, Spiro thought that he was doing better. He woke up with an FBG of 102, about 11/2 hour after breakfast he was 105. But now, right before lunch he is only 96. Spiro is not sure he will ever get down to that 70 -80 level.
Spiro here, enjoying "the good life with Afrezza"

I have fat cells that like to be fed. Demanding things they are.
Added: My blood glucose is 89 and I am about ready to eat. This forum can also make us realize how lucky we are.

Ok this morning my FBG was 108. But that's not the story on my mind and it has nothing to do with spikes.
Last night at bed time my BG was 98. Bed time is Basal time. I figured I needed a snack and woofed down 4 Vanilla Wafers and Peanut butter. That's about 16 Carbs. An hour later I'm sitting at 50. Interesting position at night.

Today is the end of one month. My FBG is 98.
My average FBG for the month was 91.47. Not bad for an old guy trying new things. I can tell things are different and I'll be tweaking variables forever. Certainly there is no one fix for diabetes but Afrezza has proven to me that it isn't a fantasy. My 90 day A1C should be the final proof we all look for.
I'm going to be gone for a week (but I'll bring back good pictures), so this is a good time to change my reporting. From now on I'll be giving weekly reports on this thread. I'll be working you guys into a frenzy waiting for that A1C number. Till next week: "Watch this Space"
