My client with the two kids on Afrezza started the kids out taking Afrezza 10 min into the meal. A sip of water first and slow inhale, because all they had to go on was what Al had said. They didn't have a doctor helping them. It was the dad's research being a MNKD long. Now they are on the 12 unit and doing great!

Go Cubs! I'm hoping that my mom (who is 87 yo) will get to see the Cubs win the World Series for once in her life.

This mornings FBG is 88.
But that didn't get my attention more than watching the MNKD chart this morning. It's almost like MNKD announced they have Technosphere and Viagra approved. There are a lot of investors wondering what they should do if this keeps up for more than 4 hours.

Plenty of fake shares being churned through the Goldman's Sigma X (or equivalent). "Nothing to see here, move along, move along" --- next week or next month, look back and you'll see big candlesticks from time to time, everything involving "price" was mostly mirage.

LOL, blindhog, I had come up with a different analogy about the recent direction of the share price - yours is so much better, I'm keeping quiet!

While you're there, ask him or her to write more Afrezza prescriptions. Make us all happy.

FBG 95 this morning. Then I ate breakfast and opened my computer to see MNKD was down.
If you worry about the day to day fluctuations of MNKD and get yourself taken out of the stock, then you aren't using the product.
If you want to control your diabetes and are using Afrezza you already know the answer.

Blindhog,
Spiro keeps telling himself the same same. If someone loses patience and sells their MNKD shares, then they are definitely not Afrezza users like we are. But knowing this isn't making Spiro feel any better about his investment. About 100,000 more Afrezza users would make Spiro feel a lot better.
Spiro here, FBG 100 today, too many chocolate covered donuts yesterday, Geez, Afrezza makes it so simple to control Blood Glucose.

But aren't you concerned about the business side of the equation? I believe in Afrezza also but this lack of awareness is vexing to say the least. SNY IMO threw Afrezza under the bus on the CC. This p$&@es me off to no end. How can they attribute such a high % of the loss of their market share to a brandbnew drug that has no sales and that they are not marketing?

This mornings FBG was 89.
OK I'm convinced on the dosing 10 minutes after starting a meal. It appears to be the ticket. I read a post on YMB about a guy that waited 6 months for his ENDO to come around. His ENDO has prescribed to 7 others since his conversion. One of the things he is having him do is see a TRAINER. Excellent idea. blindhog1, you may find the following comment from Tudiabetes.org regarding timing of Afrezza dosing interesting: Today's results--- 84 before lunch, ate a salad, vegetables, and a Hawaiian chicken sandwich on a ciabatta bun (only ate half the bun because last time I ate a whole one I shot up pretty high). 8u at 30 minutes this time (delayed longer than usual because a lot of fat in the salad toppings and dressing). 84 at start, 92 at 1 hour. 107 at two hours.
[Observation: another piece of evidence suggesting that, for Afrezza, timing is more important than dosage. I also suspect that for any Afrezza user who does not see satisfactory results with Afrezza or who claims Afrezza does not work well with him/her, he/she probably has not found out the optimal timing of Afrezza dosing.]

I think you're mis-interpreting what they said, kdf2k. It makes more sense that they adjusted their growth model to reflect lower expectations for Afrezza sales going forward than that they are blaming Afrezza for declining Lantus sales. If nothing else, the Afrezza user base would need to be much larger before it could impact Lantus sales in a meaningful way. Sales projections for new products are often built on optimistic assumptions. Otherwise it's difficult to get the project approved. Sometimes the project team gets lucky and sometimes they have to make adjustments. That's where Sanofi is now.

It's always good to have an updated model, or be dating a model, or something.
