Several months ago, I posted my belief that the API that MannKind Corporation was developing for migraine relief was sumatriptan, based on the fact that their patent for Technosphere migraine relief named this particular drug.

A method of treating a migraine comprising: providing a patient with migraine symptoms an inhaler comprising the pharmaceutical composition of claim 1 in a dry powder form comprising bis-3,6[(N-fumaryl-4-aminobutyl)]-2,5-diketopiperazine, the aliphatic amino acid and 1-50 mg of sumatriptan or rizatriptan; wherein the aliphatic amino acid is L-leucine and wherein a therapeutically effective amount of said dry powder composition is administered to said patient by oral inhalation.
The branded version of this drug is call Imitrex, and is manufactured and distributed by GlaxoSmithKline. The generic version is manufactured by Suntory Pharmaceuticals. Here is a link to their webpage for their sumatriptan:

This morning, as I was reading through an investment analyst report, something popped out that I hadn't noticed before.
MannKind Corporate, on August 10, 2015, declared the appointment of Dr. Raymond Urbanski as its Chief Medical Officer. The article went on to state:
"As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Urbanski will lead MannKind’s overall drug development activities and will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team.Dr. Urbanski has more than 25 years of research, clinical and pharmaceutical industry experience developing numerous new drugs and indications across oncology, rheumatology, cardiology, endocrinology, and immunology. He has held CMO roles at Mylan and Metabolix. Previously he was Vice President at Pfizer, and Vice President and CMO at Suntory Pharmaceuticals."
Suntory Pharmaceuticals is the manufacturer of generic Sumatriptan, the drug used for relief of migraines and the one specifically mentioned in MannKind's patent.
