He's a very impressive leader, business man, and person. The type of person who would associate with the late and great Al Mann.

"CEO Kent Kresa inherited a company that had a poor reputation for integrity, a battered stock price, and an unfortunate reputation as one of the least-admired companies in its industry. His leadership team reversed the company’s poor image and engineered a turnaround in performance." www.fastcompany.com/48377/help-others-develop-start-yourself

But the big question is what has he done for us as chairman? We have no way to determine his effectiveness since we never hear him speak to the issues affecting the company.
Impressive credentials but impotent results.

MNKD should have the connections to fly Afrezza anywhere in the world. That was the point right?

"Since the summer of 1999 the the Gates [ Bill and Melinda] have also owned a sprawling 13,573 square foot residence on 1.33 acres that backs up to a Tom Fazio-designed golf course at the guard-gated and ultra-posh Vintage Club in Indian Wells, CA. Property records and other online resources indicate they paid $12.5 million for their deluxe desert digs through a trust that familiarly links back to Mister Gate’s father’s law offices in Kirkland (WA). According to property records and other online resources, some of the other big-rich home owners at The Vintage Club include: influential businessman Kent Kresa; Texas-based beer and banking tycoon Bud Dillard’s widow, Kay; Louisiana energy mogul William Doré; bajillionaire industrialist and conservative political activist Charles Koch; French paper pasha Jacques Lejeune; the late Austrian industrialist Friedrich Flick’s multi-billionaire widow Ingrid; agro-industrialist Cargil MacMillan’s multi-billionaire widow Donna; and Las Vegas casino owner Faye Johnson." variety.com/2013/dirt/real-estalker/update-bill-gates-1201236051/

When Kresa took over Northrop Grumman, he transformed the company which like GM was on the brink of extinction. In a 2002 Los Angeles Times interview, when the company was on the verge of closing, Kresa was quoted saying, "We could just go out of business and give money back to our shareholders or we could reinvent ourselves...It became clear to us we could take the latter path." "He completely transformed Northrop," Thompson said of Kresa. "He changed the products, the market strategy and the culture. In the end, he produced a very successful enterprise that looked nothing like what he had taken over." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_Kresaarticles.latimes.com/2009/mar/31/business/fi-gm-kresa31

"To combat the credibility issue, president and CEO Raburn has assembled a management team that includes chairman Harold Poling, former chairman and CEO of Ford Motor Co; board member Dr. Sam Williams, chairman of the engine manufacturer that will power the Eclipse; v-p of product development Dr. Oliver Masefield, former v-p of R&D at Pilatus; and v-p of finance and administration Peter Reed, who forged the way for AM General’s Hummer military truck contracts. Other board members include Northrop Grumman chairman, president and CEO Kent Kresa and MiniMed chairman and CEO Al Mann." " Raburn himself is well known in the business circles of the computer and software world. In the mid- 1970s he opened one of the nation’s first computer stores (the Byte Shop in Westminster, Calif.). Shortly thereafter, he joined Microsoft as employee number 18 and served as president of the consumer products division. He then moved to Lotus Development and played an integral role in the launch of Lotus 1-2-3. Among Raburn’s 32 “launches,” 25 have been successful, Symantec and Slate among them. Most recently, Raburn worked as president of the Paul Allen Group, overseeing technology investments for Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen." www.meyersaircraft.com/Current%20Projects/AGATE%20SATS/Eclipse%20Twinjet.html

I tend to keep my focus on the great things that are happening with this investment, like how afrezza is changing lives for the PWD lucky enough to be using it and how after nearly 3 years, we've yet to see any adverse health effects. I am smart enough to know that just because something hasent happened yet, does not mean it isn't going to happen. Thanks again, have a great weekend 😁 GO MANNKIND !!!
