1. Roughly how many doctor office visits per week? 2. Roughly how many revisits per doctor? 3. Roughly how many samples per doctors? 4. Roughly how many final prescriptions per office visit?

I am not a sales person. The simple answer depends . It is 100% different between each drug, company, rep, sales strategy
Ex: when I said my local Afrezza rep stops by every week one day at a local office which is about an hr or two trip and some one didn't agree that would be possible citing their company sales strategy. I just say OK

I agree, the simple answer is that it depends. Some healthcare networks won't let their physicians see drug reps, period. You can bang on those office doors all day long, but the rep will have more chance to see a Big Foot than they will an elusive physician.
Others will only see reps during lunch or early hours, never during clinic times. Likewise, it is hard to generalize how to translate visits into doctor interactions. My primary care physician is part of an internal medicine group practice, and there are about eight physicians practicing out of the office I visit and something like 60 physicians across all their offices. So if a rep gets through the door, how many physician interactions is that? The group is also very good at checking the formulary for insurance before they ever write any script so that I don't have to pay more out of pocket. In general, you can't generalize.

I have a recent experience that makes the number of sales calls a deceptive number as it relates to actual benefits. I arrived early for a doctor appointment and sat for an hour watching the reception area. Five different sales reps walked in, signed a log in, handed over some literature, asked if the doctor could see then and were told no. They left their logged in sales call with no meeting. If Mike monitors this site, I hope he has an awareness of the reality of actual face to face calls.
