Managing PPG Excursions With a Rapid-Acting or Ultra-Rapid-Acting Insulin CME

This activity is intended for primary care physicians, diabetologists & endocrinologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with type 2 diabetes.
The goal of this activity is to increase the awareness and consideration for use of rapid-acting insulin, injected or inhaled, to manage postprandial glucose (PPG) excursions.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to
1. Assess pharmacologic treatment options for patients with diabetes who are currently on basal insulin and experiencing PPG excursions
2. Differentiate inhaled insulin from other rapid-acting insulin options
