I still think this is not real, but I have to give Blueice the benefit of the doubt. Sorry. I made some assumptions that aren't correct. No worries. Hopefully my past posts show that I am just trying to share info that might be helpful. Unfortunately, the picture with this stock is full of sound bites and mysterious clues. Hopefully we will see the full picture soon and it will be positive. Good luck.

Googled "Afrezza" and limited timeframe to "Past 24 Hours." That makes sense, plus you properly disclaimed your post as speculation. I believe the RFQ is not valid. I also believe you did not create it, but found it and passed it along as something interesting. Folks on Stocktwits are going crazy. Well, "going" isn't the right term. Derek2 will you give me/us a summary.....? Please.

If real, here's a rough estimate by volume. I think that the cargo weight includes everything, such as container, boxes, cartons, plastic, etc. Since it's a lot more work to figure out all those variables, I just estimated the size of a box of Afrezza, calculated the volume, and divided the container volume by the carton volume for a grand total of about 40,000 cartons of Afrezza. It's a very gross estimate with some fudge. Then, I took this number times the lowest priced box of Afrezza on InternationalPharmacy.com. $361/carton * 40,000 cartons = $14.4 million Let's hope that's a monthly national healthcare/hospital subscription... Feel free to check and refine my work. Now, I'm heading on vacation. Thanks. Assuming it ends up in the UAE their prices are 10% of US prices which would put the retail value at $1.4 million.

Here is a thought, couldn't someone just email or call them to verify that shipping order? Maybe on monday or if they are open today. That would get rid of alot of gray smoke.

Wouldn't MNKD announce it if they had a multimillion dollar order heading for the UAE?

I'm not going to report them, but whoever created this broke the law. If the government can prove intent and that they had some way to profit, it's not a good situation for them. Hopefully Mannkind acts quickly to ensure no one loses money.

Wouldn't MNKD announce it if they had a multimillion dollar order heading for the UAE? Perhaps they are saving it for the earnings call? I dunno - but we'll find out soon enough if this is fake or real. I certainly hope this is legit and the UAE is the country referenced many moons ago that was buying 200Million$ worth of Afrezza. Of course a pre-market announcement on Monday wouldn't suck

The UAE has controlled pricing and brought their insulin pricing in-line with Europe's about 4 years ago. Price paid to European insulin manufactures by the "European healthcare system" is 10% of what USA insurers pay the same insulin manufactures?
