As the 10.5 tons of Afrezza ships from Danbury and arrives in Abu Dhabi, how and when exactly would it be required to be reported as sales, income, scripts? When would MNKD be required to share this information with the public and shareholders, i.e. a material event? It would be appreciated if these questions are addressed directly versus misdirection comments about whether or not this is happening.

I believe when MNKD is paid it will be reported, a press release would be issued. (?) "Today MNKD received, $ from the sale of..." Like the Valencia property or the RLS one million dollar payment?

How many times has Matt told us there is a deal in the works? Everyone gets all excited and then unfortunately they never come to fruition. I hope this time they have something solid but for me it's "show me" don't tell me you, "expect near term approval". I expect a share price of $10.00 but that isn't going to make it so.

If the sales is FOB Danbury, then the sale is recorded once the goods are issued from Danbury.

I hope this time they have something solid but for me it's "show me" don't tell me you, "expect near term approval". I expect a share price of $10.00 but that isn't going to make it so. Interesting question there FQ. I've only been following Matt's dialogue for just over a year. What is the answer to your question? Assuming UAE theory is correct, why would you assume shipment is already sent, or even soon to be sent? If that 'leak' was the product of someone simply getting a shipping quote, or just trying to get a sense how much it might cost if they end up needing to do it, there's no way to know if it will happen this month, next month or even this year. I hope it is true, happens soon etc, but we're probably getting way ahead of ourselves (and MNKD) if the deal isn't even signed yet.

I hope it is true, happens soon etc, but we're probably getting way ahead of ourselves (and MNKD) if the deal isn't even signed yet. There are a load of things that I think are wrong with this. Not least is that if Mannkind are going to ship drugs they would use a freight forwarder because of logistics. You can ship goods yourself, but you don't have the contacts to get the best shipping price, you don't have the relationship with the people at either port to make sure there are no delays, and you just don't have the shipping experience. Secondly, assuming for a moment you have taken leave of your senses and decided to handle the logistics yourself then why are you using some odd site to find a shipper? If there is going to be a problem then it will happen on that first shipment so you would use a more expensive but reliable shipper who you want approach directly. I shipped perishable goods through JFK for a couple of years, there is no way I would ever attempt it alone. The chances of a bureaucratic delay is just unacceptably high for a perishable load. |

Am I missing something? Did someone with actual knowledge and facts state for sure that 10.5 tons of AFREZZA is either at, in transit, be loaded and bound for, thought of posting on a message board that it's heading to UAE or some other small Middle East nation? When will it show up as account due? When does it count as a sale? Facts only! Please get your heads out of the clouds and look for what you know, not what you hope.
