Ok that was a joke With the One Drop collaboration, I could see a lot of the framework for a digital health initiative already in place and he could not see a place in the company after the partnership was announced. Simple and pure speculation. That was a short time at MNKD to say the least.

Given a choice between digital marketing at Mannkind with almost no resources, or an executive director at Bristol-Myers Squibb responsible for global digital marketing it's an easy choice with a big pharma behind you. I seriously doubt the One Drop MoU even registered.

While it's true that Jay Appel has left Mannkind after only a few months on the job, It seems Mannkind has already replaced him in May with Suzanne Appel who is now digital marketing consultant.
How bout them Appels?

Appels gets a job for greater pay but still gets the MannKind money through his wife.
Sounds like an interesting way to get around a non compete from his new job.
