you never know what is real. Mike mentioned almost 2 months ago that they we close to a foreign deal, 2 months later guess what.....nothing. Al boasted 200 mil deal.....nothing. Al boasted several European countries banding together to approve....nothing. Al said Euro filing Oct 2014....nothing. Mike said the shorts will whine (something like that in a tweet)....nope....Matt said stay tuned....OK so....People don t believe these guys anymore. If you watched the shareholder meeting, it was set up to detract any reals questions/concerns of the shareholder. They put 4 people on stage to pump up ideas but never connected with their shareholders....Have we heard from 1 Drop Dachis in the past 2 months....NO.....They talk and talk and talk but accomplishments and goals are nil. No explanation for Matts'departure....remember the passion at Al s memorial speech....all gone in the wind.....You gave the CEO reigns to a guy who has never led a company before? REALLY

7m monthly burn rate Cash until November. 25m in debt due next August. Not many options for up front lump sum cash infusion other than dilution.
That's the problem.

you failed to mention ... Approved Contract with the Veterans Administration .... One Approval on file with a middle eastern country (UAE), Partner with Brazilian company Bionn and other regional partnerships in other geographic areas. CEO of a company CANNOT divulge these types of things IF THEY ARE NOT TRUE....Good things coming for those LONG who wait.

So why not PR VA contract? Is that not the CEO s role? Brazil will take 6 to 8 months just to approve....implement sales another 6 months....UAE? Mike said late stages or pending....Nothing they have announced has brought in revenue. They appear to have dumped a bunch of hype just before shareholder meeting to prevent a lynching.....Al and company thought they would sell this for billions....they never counted on this....they were not prepared for this....So now we got Mike.....oh boy...he has talked the Al way....toasted champagne on twitter....hired 2 different sales forces....threatened the shorts....adopted the stay tuned catch phrase....hired a few buddies.....hmmmmm.......these guys better get their act together

Exactly, it started with Al s arrogance and mismanagement. He over exaggerated everthing that had to do with Mannkind including the end Sanofi partnership...35 mill upfront....that was the best deal he could get? I know he was innovative but he screwed his shareholders period...then u got Matt who messed it up even worse...embarassment of riches...c mon...now we have Mike...nothing he has projected has materialized...your a CEO and you dont formally address shareholders immediately on assuming such a cricial role at a crucial time....Did Matt quit so Mike will be the lackey for the failure? This was the first time I didn t attend a shareholder meeting for the legitimate fear of violence...the amount of money people have lost at the hands of these clowns created such a fear that a school incident was going to occur, I bailed this year.....after watching the shareholder meeting on youtube it was VERY evident these clowns did not want to talk to shareholders....now u got Mikes response regarding addressing shareholders as we will talk at the next earnings....really??? More than a month away......complete and utter disregard for shareholders....Osborne writes a hit piece weekly, where are the pro writers? What happened to George Rho? Sorry but what Al did to his holders was downright disgusting...Hakan on payroll for more than a year at our expense...Sorry just finally issed enough to write a non rosey glassed opinion....

Very interesting that alot of news and PR just as the shareholder meeting was upon....stock price climbed...shareholders getting a bit warm and fuzzy.....then boom 1.17 or .23 depends on your initial entry.....

CEO of a company CANNOT divulge these types of things IF THEY ARE NOT TRUE....Good things coming for those LONG who wait. We've been waiting for a LONG LONG time for MannKind to make Afrezza a success. Saying we just need to continue waiting isn't the answer, continued dilution until every share we own is worthless isn't the answer. Even if MNKD goes to $50 we won't break even, soon that number will be $100. MannKind needs to demonstrate that they can grow scripts to the point they aren't burning cash. The sales team should be reaching more and more doctors and convince them to prescribe. Instead scripts growth appears to have stalled... The scripts count is the only thing that matters, it's the one real data point we can use to judge MannKind's performance. Everything else is 'smoke & mirrors'. By the way how's that Pediatric Study going? Yes, I'm still fixated on it... as it represents MannKind failing to do what they say they're going to do. Well at least the thing with the FDA... never mind.

If scripts are the end all be all measurement of success then what catalysts down the road will lead to success? September 30th label change. Clinical studies (mid October at earliest) Peds approval (January at earliest). None of these items will swing us to profitability over night. Dilution will be needed well before November (unless there's up front money from UAE deal or epipen deal).

I am curious about the argument that the UAE and that area prefer inhaled insulin over injected. What I want to understand is who/where that bias covers - UAE, Gulf, Shite/Sunni, Islam, racial (Arab), or what. I have tried to find papers on this and had little success so far so if anyone knows where this came from I would be interested.

Kimber, don't understand your criticisms. Apparently you're not a stockholder based upon your last statement .... or, perhaps you're a stockholder and just want to blame someone for the decisions you don't agree with. Stockholders have the right to vote and we live or die together. I'm long, way down on my investment like many others here, but I understood the risk/reward and don't plan to bale anytime soon.

The only possible prohibition I found has to do with certain injections (like vitamins) during a fast. islamqa.info/en/8652I would think inhaling would be even more negatively regarded when it comes to fasting. Because it would be quite likely that some small amount would inevitably get swallowed and not inhaled, people taking a drink before or after to minimise the coughing effect, etc.
