I gave my diabetic friend a copy of the Vdex White paper and she finally decided to look into Afrezza. She told me today that when she called a recommended Endo from her PCP (also listed in MNKD's physician lookup) that their first available appt was not until Nov 2017. This Endo practice services the Westminster, MD area and south central PA area of Hanover and Littletown, PA. She was also informed by staff personnel that they are so backed up that existing patients are looking for other Endos further away to be seen sooner. My friend was told that only an Endo can prescribe Afrezza to her. Is this true?

Sinai is not that far from westminster, I know they have endos and I believe mnkd is already working with LifeBridge who owns Sinai.

Check with the clinic which physicians specialize in diabetes.

Have her go to a GP in her area if possible.

Isn't there a bunch of Drs here? Any experience/feedback, etc from them?
