Just curious with what has, and has not, been said by management, what is the expectation for formulary improvement. I'll leave it up to each to define what they consider significant. For me, perhaps it would be when the improvement is enough that doctors are aware of it and less reluctant to prescribe... or perhaps when the improvement is enough that when it is revealed it is greeted with a sustained rise in share price.

Getting on UHC's formulary would be a good start - IMO

I'll call "significant" when Afrezza in on par with the other meal time insulins on all the formularies. Then the PWD can make a clear decision as to which drug they prefer with little or no financial impacts.
And, in my humble opinion, they will be moving to Afrezza in massive numbers.

Bullish Depends on which plan - On the following flex choice ooappo plan updated a few weeks ago afrezza is actually tier 2 preferred (same level as humalog) while drugs like apidra and novolog are tier 3. Very nice to see. healthy.kaiserpermanente.org/static/health/pdfs/formulary/mid/mid_flexchoice.pdf

I will also say that coverage for Aetna Medicare plan for 2018 is not bad either. While Afrezza is not preferred yet, it is on the same level as Humalog and Apidra without the added restriction of requiring Step Therapy for the other two. No restrictions on Afrezza with the added bonus of being available for Mail Order. Novolog is preferred on this plan. See for yourself: www.aetnamedicare.com/documents/group/2017/formularies/aet_2017_group_open2_formulary.pdf

After reading the posts in this thread I think it's safe to say that improvements in formulary coverage is occurring, which is fantastic and that combined with the DTC campaign should start to produce much higher script numbers. IMO
