I've lived in CA for nearly 30 years and seen a lot of wildfires, but the seasons do seem to be getting worse. Best wishes to all those affected by the fires. I know a lot are displaced from their homes for the holidays. More droughts to come with worse wildfires. Sorry for you guys that you have to pay the bill.

I'm down here just outside Phoenix stuck with a bunch of Canadians for the winter. I keep telling them we are not going to allow them across the boarder unless they start speaking Spanish!

That's not snow ... it looks more like a snowball fight.

I am much more bullish about MNKD than our climate. Best to be realistic about both, as that is how we figure out how to navigate difficult situations.

I think what you are seeing on your screen is flour.
This happens every year when liane (one of ProBoard-MNKD's two administrators) starts her holiday baking and the flour, sugar and coconut starts flying. I suspect that her kitchen is as white as the landscape outdoors!
Except for the occasionally red puddles where she spills a little wine. "Hey, if it worked for Julia, it's good for me!"

Sorry about this thread. I was trying to be humorous. It hasn't come off quite as I hoped it would. CCI- allow me to take some of the heat off of you: All my hopes for those that were adversely affected are burning bright. There- some balance with a little light humor. My Apologies (especially to my friend in the Simi Valley area).

Is that Afrezza on my screen Couldn't be. Way too much variation in size. Afrezza manufacturing has very tight control on particle size.

I’m glad it stopped snowing on the screen. It was very confusing to see snow when it is sunny and 82 degrees outside.

No snow where I am now - only -15 degree temps with wind chills I'd rather not think about. My state is trying to give mnholdem's a run for the money on bone chilling cold.

Hah! Good luck with that! Our weekend forecast is -5 degrees actual HIGH temperature. I haven't heard what the wind chill factor will be yet. I was hoping to go ice fishing, but now plan on staying indoors, working out in my home gym and then watching college and NFL football.
It was a balmy 11 degrees with snow yesterday, so I drove over and installed a new battery in my son-in-law's car. We had a 1-inch snowfall, but the road surfaces are still so cold from subzero temps the previous week that the chemicals the DMV put down didn't even melt the snow and ice. The roadways simply turned into greasy skid stuff. Even with my 4-wheel drive it was difficult getting traction.

Hopefully you have a similar plan. I hope that everybody has a safe and Happy New Year's eve, whatever your plans are.

I grew up in Michigan and lived in Rochester, MN for a short time before moving to Boca Reston, FL in 1980.
I know cold weather well and trust me, living in a warm, sunny climate in the winter beats the cold, dark, dreary winter days “up north”.
Since I’m now retired, I spend the summers at my lake front cottage in MI to escape the brutal hot and humid summer days in south FL.
