Interesting that they seem to have endorsed a trial length of only 2 weeks if a CGM is used. That certainly would be great for MNKD if that view is accepted by medical community.

Interesting that they seem to have endorsed a trial length of only 2 weeks if a CGM is used. That certainly would be great for MNKD if that view is accepted by medical community. The medical community needs help with the foundation of their thinking, see: Standards of Care. I know that if end points in a controlled study is regarded as scientific truth, then it must be a demonstrable fact. Controlled experiments (Phase 1-3 RCTs) are flawed, and is why so many drugs are later found to be harmful, toxic poison (thanks to real life evidence). We are now coming to understand that the highly regarded and esteemed grading system used by the ADA to establish the Standards of Care is just as worthless as the clinical trials used to justify prescribing these barbaric treatments. Thanks to real-life evidence and CGMs we know the truth. The truth is Afrezza is even better than anyone thought and the Standards of Care is more barbaric than anyone ever imagined. So much for RCTs establishing efficacy and safety and the ADA's grading system.

Dr. Kendall said the following: “ Other insulins are ancient, barbaric and unreliable.” From barnstormer : The main event was when Dr. Kendall took the Mike. He explained the move from Lilly where he had great product launch experiences and his dialog with Mike before coming to MNKD. We have been mining for and finding gold in the 60+ studies here at Mannkind and are getting them out to the medical community to raise awareness of Afrezza. Afrezza is the first truly new technology in the 93 year history of insulin. Other insulins are ancient, barbaric and unreliable. Yes he said that I am not making it up.Read more: mnkd.proboards.com/thread/9977/thoughts-takeaways-annual-shareholders?q=barbaric#ixzz5Gl1x6klA
