 I was chatting with a coworker this morning while waiting for my coffee to brew. We asked each other how we were doing in which I responded that I was tired because I had trouble sleeping the night before. Then she chimed in that she was tired too because she stayed up late worrying about her insulin level. A light bulb turned on in my head and I asked her if she was diabetic. She responded that she has been a T1 for the past 12 years. I’ve been working with this woman for 2 years now and just today I found out about this private piece of information about her life. She absolutely hates needles and her face glowed when I told her about Afrezza. She’s never heard about inhaled insulin! I told her everything I knew about Afrezza and that she should be persistent when contacting her doctor. After our chatter, I immediately rushed back to my desk to gather a few useful links on Afrezza, which I emailed to her and her daughter, who also works with me in the same company. Very nice story! You might also want to recommend Afrezzajustbreath.com and sam finta’s Blog although sam no longer keeps it current. Nice! That video I just posted that’s pretty old but Sam explains dosing would be great also. |

kite any take if your employment insurance coverage covers afrezza? Additionally, if and when the time comes, the continuous glucose monitor, Joey says Libre.
