from compound Must be the number of shares each of these persons or entities has the ability to control via ownership or voting power, etc. So if Flynn controls Deerfield Mgmt, L.P., he controls the shares owned under the name of Deerfield Mgmt, L.P. Therefore, whether in theory or in practice, both Flynn and Deerfield Mgmt, L.P. can be viewed as persons / entities controlling these shares. Wow, both a managing partner of Deerfield and disgraced former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn own shares?

Did they file a 5% ownership earlier in the past few months when they got shares for debt ? are these shares in addition to that?

Mannmade: you are correct...major obstacle is managed care. Absolutely no wins in this department in 2YEARS despite several well paid peops who’s job has been to change it. We have to start rebating. 3X the cost of novolog and not enough data to warrant coverage. Insurance companies aren’t flinching. 60% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

Volume would double with better coverage. I get we would have to get twice as many new starts to make the same amount of money, but what we have today isn’t working. We need as many new people trying Afrezza as possible.

I don't know why but it brings this to mind lol, dealbook.nytimes.com/2011/06/15/misdirection-in-goldman-sachss-housing-short/ .....Lloyd is heading out to pasture now (officially 10/1) of course, ohhh those Goldman pastures lol. I actually went to High School with a former partner who passed too early (clot thrown after knee replacement surgery should never have happened, one of the rare nice guys...he got drafted by the NY Jets as a kicker and then went on to a highly successful career at GS in their global commodities division. RIP RR

Correction: Novolog 1500 units $530. Afrezza 1440 units $1200. However, keep in mind u need 1.5x more Afrezza than RAA for equal glucose lowering effect+ most need correction 2 hrs later for best Afrezza results so we end up close to 3X

From previous Mike C. 's comment, Afrezza needs to be expensive so that distributor can have a good cut, given the small volume.
