Made these larger so they are easier to see/read. I know how much peppy (the magnificent) loves charts and graphs.

Question to all - Shouldn't these links and extracts be posted by someone on every diabetes forum across the planet, i.e., are we the only ones that care about this type of material??? I would have thought this material would go viral, but...

Question to all - Shouldn't these links and extracts be posted by someone on every diabetes forum across the planet, i.e., are we the only ones that care about this type of material??? I would have thought this material would go viral, but... The answer is that people largely don't care. I have always been obsessed with treatment and technology for diabetes, but I learnt two things early on from posting on diabetes forums; almost nobody else is obsessed, and that people resent being told how to manage their diabetes by total strangers.

As Aged said, few PWDs understand and I will add including the doctors. PWDs will do what their doctors say and take what the doctor prescribes and doctors will follow the standard of care.
Getting info out on forums is a good thing but Dr. Kendall has to deliver on getting the standard of care updated based on the data.

Unfortunately, I have to agree to a large extent. People still smoke, take harmful drugs, drink, over eat, and are immobile. There’s lots of information about the dangers to our health but people just don’t care enough to take action. My hope is that Afrezza’s easy of use will encourage PWD (especially T2) to use the product. (Sometimes I feel guilty that Afrezza allows us to continue to eat badly or “normal”, knowing that a quick fix is at hand.)

If you could get an extra 20-30 years if you did everything perfect people would care IMO. What I focus on is “Quality” of day to day life, feeling as good you can in the moment. When your blood sugars are under control or you had a great work- out your mood level is up. Focus is better. I don’t do it so I can live to be 100, I do it so I have quality. I say enjoy it, eat what you want if you’ve got something like Afrezza:-)

Sports, you’ve hit on a key marketing point when you comment on quality of life [inject photo of girl full of syringes]. As important as the new measurements are (eg TIR) they won’t be readily adopted if they are complicated.
Afrezza is the perfect insulin for improving quality of life. Simple and effective.
