Are we still owed a second Int'l Partner term sheet or deal? Cipla/India was back in early May. Am I missing something?
If not, who thinks it might be China and delayed due to FROR clauses for Amphastar?
Trying not to speculate, but to discern.

Agreed. We are now 3 weeks into Q3 so hopefully we get another piece into place for the revenue ramp up soon.

They are looking for a partner that can cover many markets over having a partner that only covers a single country like Brazil and India. I am still betting on Abbott and Dexcom.

Ny reason why they haven't looked for a partner and applied in Canada? Seems like that would be a fairly easy approval.

Is that so hard?

They are looking for a partner that can cover many markets over having a partner that only covers a single country like Brazil and India. I am still betting on Abbott and Dexcom. Why so? I might be wrong, but I believe Mike said they would be doing that (or something to that effect). Who knows why. Could be a lot of things, but pretty hard to guess on his rationale. Maybe: * Mike thinks he can get more upfront money from one big partner then multiple small * Mike thinks it would be less effort/drain on mnkd dealing with one partner * Mike pushed his pencil and calculator (or, cellphone) and considering all the factors, he figures he just will have a better bottom-line with one partner But, I like chanhart's thinking about those two choices. Hey, I think I can already hear the chants for Google! Amazon! Apple! Maybe when the sales pickup, one of those monsters will just buy us, right? And there will be beautiful presents under all of our Christmas trees this year.

Does anybody think that it's significant that MannKind has been running TV advertisement in Canada?

Does anybody think that it's significant that MannKind has been running TV advertisement in Canada? I am not sure if its significant but I am sure its a waste of $$$. As its not approved and available in Canada yet. Or is it? And are these ads web ads or TV ads.
If they are web ads , the advertiser is targeting the wrong geographic. Have seen that happen many times.

Does anybody think that it's significant that MannKind has been running TV advertisement in Canada? I seriously doubt that MannKind is buying TV time in Canada. When I was a kid we lived on the US side of the border with Canada and listened to and watched Canadian radio and TV stations. In the late 60's and into the 70's, CKLW in Windsor, Ontario was the top-rated radio station in the Detroit market. Friends on the Canadian side heard and saw US stations. Radio and TV signals don't magically stop at the border, so plenty of Canadians are exposed to US programming and commercials. Edit: I just went back and found this quote from mnkdfann in another thread: Realistically, why would Mannkind spend to show an ad anywhere in the Canadian market? Where Afrezza isn't even available?
Logic suggests it didn't. The ad was probably purchased to run in some U.S. market and the viewer in Canada saw it on his local cable feed of that U.S. broadcast. Or possibly via a antenna, satellite dish, etc. We see a lot of U.S. ads here in Canada that way.

Does anybody think that it's significant that MannKind has been running TV advertisement in Canada? I have yet to see one, and my cable feeds are out of one of the larger markets (Vancouver/Victoria).........are you sure they are running on Canadian channels? Unless the program is real popular and simu-cast on a Canadian channel at the same time as well, we often see the original US commercials if we are watching a US feed (Fox, CBS, NBC, etc)

Does anybody think that it's significant that MannKind has been running TV advertisement in Canada? I think it's significant. It makes sense that Mike C waited until STAT was made public and then, with the product presumably worth more, proceeded with 1) final negotiations on a term sheet with Canadian entity and 2) running ads in Canada. This appears to me a likely scenario. Of course, I have no evidence. It will be fun to watch. I'm buying more this week. I'm guessing that the spectre of dilution is vanquished by sales ramp up in August.
