Riding down I-95 towards Miami; riding down Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles; riding pass Children's Hospital in Chicago; or walking down the main drag in New York City and you glance up to look at a billboard with the following depiction:
The photo of the boy that looks like a human pin cushion with the phrase: "Stick it to Diabetes and Not Yourself" A picture of the Dreamboat followed by Afrezza and the 1-800 number.
Would that not make you curious? Would that not make you want to go to your doctor and ask about Afrezza? Would that not force the media to take notice of this amazing drug and its delivery? Would that not make a gigantic impact on diabetics?
Mike, it's time to share with the world the vision of Al Mann's amazing product and it starts with no needles, better A1-C's, and less hypos. Take the gloves off and start fighting fire with fire!

I also happen to believe that billboards are powerful tools that reach a lot of people and provide good value to advertisers.
I wonder if anyone is aware of prescription drugs advertised that way and if there are any regulatory issues...

and where do u suggest stick the safety info where people will be able to read the safety warnings along with the ad - unless the bill board is so huge. But you are free to dream and post your not so practical ideas.

I don’t recall ever seeing any drug billboard ever. Just HelpLine advertisements for drug abuse. There has to be a reason why drugs cannot be advertised this way. I would guess that the FDA does not allow it because there wouldn’t be time to read the label warnings.

Mankind Afrezza dreamboat has come with two types of packages to distinguish the type 1 from type 2 diabetic patients. One is labeled for type 1 users only. Another labeled with type 2 to avoid the confusion of the users and doctor, IMHO.

My brother was diagnosed a type 2 two years ago. Endo gave him the Microbiome with many pills at his meal time. But he is suffering weaker and weaker day by day. He had a one heart attacking, light stroke and kidney problem. He is dying. Then his wife insisted him to convinced the reluctant Endo to prescribe the Afrezza after her research. He is getting better now, but he has the problem with how many units that he has to use each time between the big and small meal. When he asked, Endo has no idea too.

There are billboards advertising Cool sculpting, gastric bypass, billboards advertising CVS, Walgreens, and any number of hospitals. Anti-drug billboards. ( The billboards advertising Cool sculpting and such are not listing the side affects.)

( The billboards advertising Cool sculpting and such are not listing the side affects.) It appears from my quick scan of the internet that prescription drugs can be advertised on billboards, even without listing side-effects in some cases. However, because Afrezza has the black box warning, it does not qualify and would have to list side effects, which would be challenging. There are different guidelines I think for outdoor advertising, but I couldn't find them easily. See FDA.
