The fact that they haven't bought shares outside of the plan could mean that there is some news in the near future that precludes them from purchases. It is a possibility.

Did Alinaya pay for the options she listed on the 4k just published or freebies? Stock options are given to employees, they don't pay for them. I was confused with the per share prices listed on the form. I winder what her milestones are? Breathing? Cause that's not much she does 8 hrs a day...

Cause that's not much she does 8 hrs a day... Speaking of doing anything 8 hrs a day, where is the social media presence that I had read Mannkind was going to pursue? There's little on facebook or twitter from MNKD that isn't just a rehash of press releases. Why don't the sales people tweet or post on facebook -- discuss what they've been doing, offer to help folks with prior authorization, show any interesting articles they've found, discuss any diabetes meetings or seminars they've gone to, even talk about their own interests just to show they exist, etc? If the POTUS can take the time out of his busy day to flail twitter, I would think MNKD employees could kick in some time and effort in that direction as well.

Sorry, can't buy the logical fallacy argument that because X does something, so should Y. However, to answer your comment with more clarity, I see Mike on FB and Twitter all the time, if you want to make a better comparison...POTUS v CEO on social media offering to help.

I’ve seen Mike C respond to user questions in under 5 minutes on Facebook. You won’t see it here, (unless someone shares it), you’ll have to look or subscribe to the Afrezza users group on Facebook. 😎

I do believe deerfield shorted MNKD all the way down. A news report came out, May 24, 2017 www.nytimes.com/2017/05/24/business/dealbook/five-accused-of-trading-illegally-on-health-policy-leaks.htmlThree current and former partners at Deerfield Management, a health care hedge fund firm, paid Mr. Blaszczak to provide inside information about policy decisions at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, leading to millions of dollars in illegal profits, federal prosecutors in Manhattan and securities regulators said. MNKD low, deerfield had bought a bunch of shares, I thought it was to cover. MNKD proceeded to hit new lows. I am clueless regarding deerfield.

DF provides debt. Firms that provide debt could be short common because the debt may be convertible , may know more about the company health than market and will definitely short common if they will be taking shares for payments - locking profit and making $$ on the short side as well. they care about the principal $ they provided.

Added: By buying or selling securities of those companies before the agency announced its plans to the public, Adviser A reaped millions of dollars in ill-gotten gains in the form of trading profits for several hedge fund clients it advised, as well as management fees and performance-based compensation for the adviser. Added: "Blaszczak also wrote, “We’d kill it working togethe[r].” Worrall responded, “You’re like a drunk whore to me. Hard to resist. Lol. Let’s talk.” "
