Joey, a co-worker with you in an elevator and they did not recognize you as the face of Afrezza. What is up with the co-worker? Obviously Joey has his Clark Kent suit on at work. Seriously, though, Joey brings up a very important aspect about Afrezza. It's unique and, given the exposure, people will notice Afrezza and remember it. Time for everyone with a Afrezza T-shirt to start wearing them. Nothing like saturation advertising.

I personally saw the Afrezza commercial during Hannity, Fox Network at 10:25 pm in California. Very cool.

The much larger targeted demographic (T2's) that are aging baby boomers a lot of which were brought up on mac and cheese, Mickey D french fries, pizza and sodas, etc. do watch TV, and those that are non compliant with current meds/therapy and are still unaware of Afrezza's existence while their condition is worsening will remember the commercials. If they don't see it others will tell them about it....awareness is the key first step, inquiry to physician the second, insurance converage and understanding dosing the all important third once they find the right physician. The social media groups like Sam, Eric, Laureen, Brendan in UK will continue to grow and do quite a job on awareness and benefits with the younger T1's.

The Boomer's kids are the ones who will ultimately be the stewards of their long term care (I'm living it). They comprise a significant piece of the demographic called out in the data I shared. Informing all audiences of the benefits of Afrezza as efficiently and effectively as possible is important. Proboards has discussed why doctors are reluctant to prescribe a new insulin therapy. Boomers (and likely many PWD) are reluctant to change course. It got them this far so why change? MannKind needs more voices advocating for change. A parent will likely listen to their child who has a far greater vested interest in their long term care... In the meantime Dr. Kendall and team really do need to change the SOC. IMO most Boomers and doctors see that as gospel.

I saw the Afrezza commercial twice on Rachel Maddow tonight, within a 16-minute span.
That got me curious, so I checked some of the digital discourse about the show. Pretty impressive: 1,700,000 viewers each night, on average. Here's some sample coverage, on the "bizwomen" site, dated September 19 (https://www.bizjournals.com/bizwomen/news/latest-news/2018/09/rachel-maddow-has-her-best-week-ever.html):
"The Rachel Maddow Show" was the most-watched cable news show last week, as she drew her biggest weekly audience ever. Last week the MSNBC program drew an average of 3.43 million viewers, making it the most-watched week in its 10-year history, Forbes reports.
Last Friday's show drew 3.6 million viewers, making it the No. 1 TV show of the evening in both cable and broadcast, even as The Weather Channel ramped up its coverage of Hurricane Florence.
In the coveted 25-54 demographic, Maddow drew 667,000 viewers -- another personal best for the show. The Wrap reports that Maddow is benefiting from a rapid news cycle as viewers seek explanation and perspective.
So I am smiling at those millions of folks now being introduced to "The Game Changer, our Inspirational Hero, Afrezza, brought to humanity naturally by MannKind, the Little Engine That Can And Will!" (You can probably tell that I'm hoping new commercials will have a bit more jazz - and science - to them....)
