This may not be what you think, but the way I read your post is that someone who has faith in the science behind Afrezza should hold tight. As an investor, the flaw I see is that faith in Afrezza is different from faith in the Mannkind corporation. Afrezza may win out in the end, but perhaps only after Mannkind fails, current shareholders get screwed, and someone with better / deeper pockets and a better distribution network takes ownership of Afrezza. Full disclosure, I purchased more shares a week or so back around $1.25, after previously selling my previous holdings around $1.80 some months back. Yes, I'm feeling like an idiot. Completely agree a great product does not equal a great company and that all the most negative concerns are possible. MC doesn't strike me as a smokin hopium kind of guy, so I'm less concerned than others. The part about a better funded company with better distribution taking ownership of Afrezza may be the reason behind "the earmarks of a concerted effort to deny MNKD operating capital including predatory naked shorting and commercial and social media bashing". Denying Mannkind operating capital is right. Notice how the price floated higher and the short interest floated lower just before they received the 14 million shares back from options hold? Now that Mannkind could be sniffing around for a buyer of the 14 million shares, the price is being hammered for ...well...business as usual, and the SI keeps floating up. Coincidence? I think not. Other forces at work here, be it just normal market manipulation for a washed out stock or a bonafide cabal against us, you take your pick. I'm done fighting it. Buying the dips and selling the spikes with trading shares. The trend is your friend, remember. Maybe I'll even get my money back, LOL

It’s nothing to do with me really. I challenge anyone to do a proper valuation and show me anywhere close to the current share price. Even double where we are, show me the numbers. I challenge any short.

3.2 million shares traded and up $.10. Naysayers out in full force. Something good is happening and they want our shares, therefore the FUD.

The MNKD story is far from over and no one can predict the ultimate future of this company no more than when we were all caught off guard by the UTHR deal.
This board is great with someone to remind me how much my investment is down every second of the day. Tell me something new.
The stock is watched 24/7 and is followed more closely than some blue-chip stocks. No one can argue with the effectiveness of this product or the delivery platform.

No, MC doesn't seem like someone to engage in mere wishful thinking. He's made sure he's reaping benefits in the here and now, with bonus and raise. Many of us are however left without much but hope, and in the absence of better communication from management it usually seems like an exercise in grasping at straws.

I have not read Seeking Alpha in several month's. Interesting that they continue to follow such a "dead" company. They know they have a captive audience to add fuel to their flames while enhancing their pay by click "news" articles. It's all noise in my opinion. My fascination continues on the nearly 24/7 discussion of this "death spiral" of a company which is up nearly six percent today at this exact moment. No one knows how this MNKD story will play out. This company is being watched closely for a reason. Stay tuned as a former CEO once said. Up 5.26% on the day,.... and down 6.5% on the week. What matters is the trend, and that is downwards. All the 5% swings do is make money for traders.
