LTSs of mnkd have for years been described as hopeful holdouts. But, there is a marked difference between hope and faith, and I'd claim that LTSs of mnkd are more faithful, than hopeful, because they believe they're hopes are more assured by the actions and interests of management to deliver on this product and platform.
To me, the shorts are now being "hopeful" that the science is wrong, management is wrong, and that we're wrong. But their case is deteriorating day by day, week by week. Btw, can someone point out the most compelling piece of information that the shorts have a real case at all?

Hope is not a strategy... keep the faith!

Hope is fine... but it does not work to move things forward... I am all for hope as without it there is no positive. However if I go to Las Vegas and Hope I am Going to win.... I am more likely going to lose... now if I instead took lessons on how to play poker or blackjack to learn strategy I increase my chances of winning... GLTAL’s!!!

Don’t get me wrong as I believe in both hope and faith... however one chooses to define them. However I am just trying to say that each by itself without any action is not a strategy to move the ball forward. We have hope and faith in Mike C but he has a plan that goes beyond just hope and faith...

Interesting topic... I agree with the premise on the long side equating to faith in the underlying premise and upside of the investment... However, as a long time long, I will admit, at this time, I did not spend the time I needed, to understand much less accept the implications of survival via DF(the long held engine) of shorts profiteering - and instead was hopeful that this was a smaller piece of the puzzle.
I put my faith in the science and recognized what back then was not as real as it no longer may be - either way I have kept my faith etc.
So we'll see.

Most view this in a religious context, but at its heart it means you believe that you are protected by someone who cares about you. You may not know exactly what to expect, but you believe that you are in good hands.

The difference between shorts and longs is the shorts with their faith in shorting MNKD have made much more money controlling the share price

We need more longs to get faith in MNKD, buy, and hold onto their shares. And more longs and more longs to do the same.
And just as there is a short cabal, we should have a long cabal. We need a cabal with $30 million or so to buy up shares, hold, and not lend them out

Let’s start a gofundme type of website dedicated to raising funds for the sole purpose of buying shares in humanistic-publicly-traded companies with life saving products that are being short caballed to death. Done right, it could be more successful than the current gofundme program; reason being, the “donaters” would recieve something in return - in addition to their good deed - shares of stock.
