I suppose the first question is whether this facebook page is actually owned/operated by Mannkind. Not sure how to avoid advocates from posting their own opinions and such. The other point is that most drug companies aren't going to run into this sort of problem since most prescribed users aren't on social media exalting the results they've achieved from a drug they are taking. |

Here's the guy I believe tipped off OPDP for the violation or was used by someone on the short side to send to the OPDP.

Perhaps MannKind is held responsible for monitoring their site to remove spammers and over-zealous posts. A Moderator’s job is never done. ;-)

Not any more, or not the Twitter account linked from their web site. Instagram is gone as well. From the FDA evidence page it looks like the post came from Mannkind themselves. At this point Mannkind would have to pull all the social media sites because they don't want to have anything out there that the FDA can object to. |

I would assume so, aged is right, all Afrezza social media channels seem to be deactivated.

I don’t think it is/was, but it seems anything Afrezza on social media is being deleted this evening. 🤨 Only remaining evidence of @discoverafrezza on Twitter. Goes back to 2017 with questions then by jaystockton. |

so where exactly is the spammers violation here? The "insulin is not the bad guy here" ? or considered an advertisement and not FDA approved?

I have a lot of questions about this whole debacle. Seems like a very fine line the FDA is drawing with Afrezza/MNKD about social media posts. Seems to me they’ve been very, even overly cautious with their posts. Every one I’ve ever seen has had reference to all the safety information. If you only get 90 chars or whatever for a post, how do you put all that in a post? (Rhetorical question). The answer is you link it. FDA has a bone to pick IMO. |
