Just noticed on the script counts that we just surpassed the 23 Oct 2015 TRX high of 627. On 5 Oct 2018, we rang in at 647. It took us almost 3 years. And yep. Understand that changes in packaging etc make this not actually comparable. And for example, the Sanofi weekly sales amount was only $371k at that time, whereas this last report for MNKD was at $906K. But in any case, FWIW, I still see it as a cause to celebrate this as a (finally) small victory.

Just goes to show what a negative impact that train wreck of a partnership had on MNKD. 3+ years blown.

Also on the bright side I talked to a PCP today who had heard of and knew about Afrezza. Said he would not prescribe it because it was to expensive. He thought it was a bad investment until I mentioned the recent UT deal and his attitude did a 180. More meetings pending lets double those numbers. The word is getting out. GO MNKD !

If you are aware of the packaging difference why would you even bring such silly comparison up?

But his opinion on Afrezza didn’t change did it? I wonder how he came to the conclusion that Afrezza was too expensive if he never prescribed it?

Why is a "DOCTOR" determining if MNKD/Afrezza is a bad investment? That's not his job. I know Drs. do consider price with their patients but if you have a drug that will IMPROVE their patients health.....he should find a away and let the customer make that determination.

Metformin was expensive when it hit the market years ago and now they give it away for FREE.

One of his patients came in with a 500 BG and gave him Afrezza. It dropped back to normal within 90 minutes and he's been on it ever since. All of his patients are having great success. He knows the hurdles of the PA's, Rejections and Appeals but eventually they will go away. He's a big fan of Afrezza
