All this is way over my head. Any possible way this could be a good thing and people are selling without really knowing?

Hopefully something didn't go wrong with the UTHR deal.

I for one will withhold my judgement on this move until I know more. While on the face of it this move seems like a dilutive kick in the gut, my own gut is telling me there must be more to this story as mnkd does not need the cash today and has never (that I can recall) raised cash early. And as I recall Mike had recently said that he hopes to have no further dilution or at least minimal. There must be a part 2 to this story. Otherwise no explanation for this move which on its own is sure to (already has) tank the stock...

All this is way over my head. Any possible way this could be a good thing and people are selling without really knowing? If this was going to be a positive, why try to hide this event during the holiday shutdown. They would want to pr a positive right after the 2nd of January for greatest momentum.

I won't name names, but IIRC numerous experts on this forum swore Mike said we were free and clear of dilution. He never said we were free and clear of dilution. He said current shareholder dilution would be minimized. What I don’t understand is why “pre-announce” the offering, giving no specifics, and leaving everyone guessing.

Hopefully something didn't go wrong with the UTHR deal. Probably the 2nd molecule work is going slower than expected.

Does anyone have any idea how selling shares to buy back shares is supposed to work? I must have slept through that lecture in Finance class. If they would have added a coma in the sentence, or worded it better, it wouldn’t have been confusing. I had to read twice also.

I emailed the address in the press release and received the prospectus in less than five minutes. The document is 53 pages long

Raising capital now is only a few months early at best. Raise capital now before Q1 2019 vrs Q4 2018 scripts show little or negative increases similar to last year.

Hopefully something didn't go wrong with the UTHR deal. OUCH! hope not. That will be a death blow to technosphere platform and to MNKD.

Mike knows a lot more about the moving parts of MNKD than any of us. Based on his overall performance, I would still maintain more good news than bad will prevail over time. This is a trust moment.
