New CEO of JDRF -- an Afrezza user/advocate RLS -- multi-billion dollar industry, finding its footing and increased world-wide acceptance Afrezza -- back tot the I think can I think can analogy, just need that base to grow UTHR -- Tre-T, royalites will help to bring other drugs to market
The warrants might have been holding us back? Or the possibility of further dilution holds us back? What is apparent, Mike has been able to get funding somehow/someway, and when the rxs actually do take off, funding should not be such a problem.
But in the mean time, I trade around my core. Not willing to lose out on unexpected news that propels us up the trunk of the Goddamn hockey stick!
Something has got to give, when is the question.

Mike talked about retraining doctors today.
I propose this...
Prescriber's incentives schedule:
10 patients on Afrezza - $250 Nordstrom gift certificate 25 patients on Afrezza - $1000 Nordstrom gift certificate 50 patients on Afrezza - 7 nights stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua 200 patients on Afrezza - Tesla Model S

So if I just buy 50 boxes of Afrezza ... I can stay 7 nights at the Ritz-Carlton in Kapalua? !!! You have got to be kidding. AND, I don't even want a Tesla where I have to sit on a battery and rot out my gonads. Ha!
But, that's mytakeonit

I take it that there is some way to validate the process with the number of scripts each doctor writes so that's probably not a big deal. Take their ad campaign funding and you can buy a lot of nights at the Ritz and shopping at Nordstrom's. Scrap the Tesla, give me a certificate to shop at Tiffany's in Palm Beach or Beverly Hills. Is this done all the time in the industry, legally as incentives?

How about this for an incentive for a Dr. to put a patient on Afrezza:
10 patients on Afrezza - Save 10 patient's from dying early 25 patients on Afrezza - Save 25 patient's from dying early 50 patients on Afrezza - Save 50 patient's from dying early 200 patients on Afrezza - Save 200 patient's from dying early

Now that the $2.38 warrants have expired, I don’t expect to see the pps to move up void of any other news. The $1.60 warrants run all the way out to December. IF, and a big IF, the $1.60 warrants get exercised early, then I think we will see the stock price move positively in response. The possibility of further dilution is the key deterrent in my opinion.

I agree boca that the cloud of expected dilution is the key deterrent keeping our share price depressed. If we could somehow gain enough traction to minimize the odds of dilution that would be huge. As for the $1.60 warrants, i think it's been well established that there's virtually no chance those get exercised early. So if warrants really have been holding us back (that's more debatable IMO), it doesn't bode well for share price the rest of 2019.

I agree as well Boca, and the following items while not guaranteed to happen prior to the $1.60 warrants execution/expiration date are, imho, more likely than not:
1. Second UTHR milestone 2. Second UTHR molecule 3. Brazil approval 4. Canada and Mexico filings 5. Sustained Afrezza revenue trend of $1.5m plus weekly gross revenue which equals $750K weekly net or $39m net on an annualized basis which is about 35% to break even.
6. One* or more of the above will sustain price to trigger warrants in my opinion and give mnkd an extended runway into mid 2020.
*Canada and Mexico filings by themself may not be sufficient.

Yeah, outside my area of legalize...that's why I had to ask because we know it's done (wink-wink) but, they'll do it until they get caught. Sounds like Risk-Reward/Cost-Benefit planning...not like Pharma-bro and his defrauding investors.

This is not the dedicated clinic approach some of us are advocating buts its a HUGE step in the right direction. These are the people who are on the front lines dealing with the PWDs not the doctors. If Mike can make their life easier that is one huge step toward scripts as the DE's can get the scripts written.

mango - I don't like Teslas either because of that huge battery. But that aventadore sv is obviously stuck on a speed bump and it's wheels aren't touching the ground. Definitely won't work in Hawaii.
Can't wait till Friday's revenue numbers come out ... Then I'll know if I can afford a larger tent.
But, that's mytakeonit
