My question is ... am I considered as being in the general public ... or, an institutionalized investor?
But, that's mytakeonit

Google
What Kind Of Shareholders Own
and you'll see that Simply Wall St. pumps these articles out every day. Essentially computer generated articles using a template that replaces some numbers and adjectives and stock phrases from article to article.
IMO, they are basically just SPAM to drive readers to the Simply Wall St. site.
But if people enjoy them, it's all good.

27% institutional investors I believe has gone up a little bit? I think we need to know what Simply Wall St. is counting, and what date that figure is really for. The infographic says it is as of July 9, but since that is today I think it is clear the data is not as it says as institutions clearly don't report second by second. FWIW, Yahoo Finance puts the institutional investors figure at over 30%. Another FWIW comment, if one registers and accesses the Mannkind page at Simply Wall St. one will see that it describes MNKD as overvalued at 1.14 and gives a fair intrinsic value price of 0.85. I maintain the Simply Wall St. article is fairly useless (for serious investing opinions and data, I mean). YMMV.

But, that's mytakeonit May be all the longs who are in this ride since approval are in fact institutionalized!! How else one can tolerate all this and still come back for more? And, now as an added attraction, we have performance from touring circus as well :-) Good one, mytakeonit!

IMO, they are basically just SPAM to drive readers to the Simply Wall St. site. But if people enjoy them, it's all good. I disagree a little. I know exactly what you mean about computer generated articles pumped out daily using templates. But, this article is not like them. You are right that it's not the best quality of analysis. But, it's a little better than the bare-bones computer-generated crap. For example, they don't use the typical ROI-type numbers to evaluate MNKD, which just have no meaning for a company that doesn't make a profit, and a company that has a potential profit-generating machine like MNKD. FYI, you don't even have to give it your real email address. I just typed in something like junk@garbage.com and it let me in. Anyway, what I really wanted to draw attention to are the two charts (Analysts Growth Expectations and Past & Future Earnings per Share) that show breakeven in second-half of 2022. Now, we all know what will happen to the SP once we cross into profit.
