diabetesstrong.com/how-to-bring-high-blood-sugar-down-fast/Consider using Afrezza Afrezza is a rapid-acting inhaled insulin that some people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes find to be very useful for treating high blood sugar levels. For a person with type 1, inhaled insulin is never going to replace all of your insulin needs, but many are using it in addition to their normal insulin via syringe or insulin pump because of how quickly it starts working in your bloodstream. It’s fairly easy to use but the results and experience of using it can differ from person to person. Ask your healthcare team for more information about Afrezza. ------------- She's at least getting a little more friendly towards Afrezza but you can still tell she doesn't really want to give it full credit on it's benefits.

Has "she" ever been anti afrezza? The she is in quotes because the author of that article is a writer and that site has many authors so I'm not sure who you're referencing here. Browsing all she wrote there is nothing else on Afrezza. The "she" owner of the site, Christel, did not write that and does use Afrezza and I've personally seen her use it. diabetesstrong.com/about-us/Many people writing many things. Also Dr. Ahn on that site is super pro afrezza and was on Mannkinds own site for known doctors would would prescribe; I even went to him. These are my friends (The T1 world is quite small . I would appreciate you be very clear with what you will say about them.

Ginger hasn't not been very friendly when writing about Afrezza in the past. That's all, not sure why she's been that way about Afrezza but she has.

Shawn, your comments have, IMO, been a positive contribution to this forum in 2019 an have raised awareness in several areas. Here’s hoping (as I raise my glass) that your $.02 will grow to $.03 during the new year.

Not sure where that is misleading. If you're talking about onset/peak those are published numbers and not hers. Reading through that search that was already pointed out. I can personally vouch for the peak time, onset is probably in blood stream onset which isn't the best to use. But even if we use it, her Afrezza numbers via clamp are true too. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4455463/This isn't her, this is studies and what Mannkind has published. Know who the real bogyman is.

I mean, if you want to look at what is published: www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2014/022472lbl.pdfHowever, the faster absorption of insulin from Afrezza [see Figure 3(B)] did not result in a faster onset of activity compared to insulin lispro [see Figure 3(A)]. As I said, know how your real problems are and it isn't a blogger. You all want the problems to be some easy to blame individual who just writes what is out there. Sorry that it isn't that simple.
